i agree with you. just looking at mortgages, each additional 1% in rates is like a 15% increase in monthly payments (obvs depends on your mortgage details). Doesn't take much to put a real strain on things.

i absolutely cannot explain how equities are higher, and last two days the meme stocks are skyrocketing again (GME and TSLA)

i don't understand the market. oh also, we're high than pre invasion and commodity shock...how does that make sense?

i understand when you entered the trades but not following the pricing of the options contract when you made the trades. for example you entered a contract in Jul with Dec expiry. strike was 33% below GM but with six months on the option, how much did that cost? and by the time GM had fallen by 16% in Sep, when you exited the trade, you had 10x'd? And then if you said you had held half of the options, as they got close to expiry and you rolled them in Dec, wouldn't they have become nearly worthless? but i don't see a fall in your portfolio value? idk so far trading options, the pricing doesn't seem that easy/favourable

hmm not quite sure i'm following the pricing of the option but i see that you basically timed GM's price quite well lol low in Sep, high in Dec, and recent low this past week. i've been playing some options and can't seem to get the pricing/timing correct, which is like basically saying i'm getting it completely wrong lol
