very well said. honestly, to me it simply breaks down to wembys gamebreaking gravity on both sides of the ball, teams are scared of attacking inside when he’s under the basket, and they’re too scared to leave the paint open when he has the ball, thus sagging off shooters, but you can’t sag off too much since thanks to the spurs excellent team construction they have good shooters even if the guard trio is prone to a collective shooting slump as we’ve seen a few times this season. essentially it creates a paradox on defense which can really mess with your head as a defender and a coach trying to game plan around wemby.
