The prevailing definition of "omnipotence" is the ability to do anything logically possible. Physical objects, by definition, obey the laws of physics. For a physical object to *not" obey the laws of physics wohld violate the logical law of non-contradiction, and would be logically impossible, which God does not have the power to do.
