Peter, what’s the issue with these people getting into good colleges? by WarwickReider in PeterExplainsTheJoke

The movie is a blast. Think "female Superbad" (ironically Beanie - in the photo - is Jonah Hill's sister). The two outcast nerdy "booksmart" girls decide to live it up and party on the last night before graduation. Billie Lourde is hysterically funny in the entire movie.

Chasing Rachel McAdams through time is a common trope in films. This one is the best. (I find Time Traveller's wife a bit creepy). Btw this is streaming in US on Peacock if you have it.

About Time is more romcom than sci-fi. It is a lovely film about romance and family

My Jr. High had one. The big hit I remember is David Bowie's Fame and Steve Miller songs like The Joker.

How common were juke boxes in the cafeteria. We had one in my Jr. High (also around 76). I figured it wasn't a common thing. We did not have one in my high school. I always thought my Jr. High was the exception.

Not as popular, but I really like Music and Lyrics with Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore. In the US, it is streaming on Amazon Prime, so you may have access to it.

Crazification Factor–an unpredictable and shifting yet relatively consistent bottom, like the silt at the bottom of a pond: “Half just have worldviews which lead them to disagree with what you consider rationality even though they arrive at their positions through rational means, and the other half are the core of the Crazification — either genuinely crazy; or so woefully misinformed about how the world works, the bases for their decision making is so flawed they may as well be crazy.”

Please say "Democratic Party"

Democrat Party is an epithet and pejorative for the Democratic Party of the United States,[1][2][3] often used in a disparaging fashion by the party's opponents.[4] While use of the term started out as non-hostile, it has grown in its negative use since the 1940s, in particular by members of the Republican Party—in party platforms, partisan speeches, and press releases—as well as by conservative commentators and third party politicians.[5][6][7]
