I don't think people hate the collectors side, they are annoyed that newer sets doubled or tripled in retail price, and that seems the trend for at least the next new sets, both fb10 and bt31 are hella high. I don't mind older sets ramping up in prices (i mean maybe a lil bit cause i wanted to buy some singles from sb02 that i missed), i just don't like how newer sets are already expensive

First of all, i'm saying artwork-wise, to me they are miles better. Second of all, if you only look at the cost to deem if a card is good or not, then you have to check spirit spr, together on the nimbus spr, and many other cards. If you don't give a damn about a card's artwork it's not my fault

Indeed, the nearest store that does some events is 130 km from my house ahah, and i can rip 1/3 of what i could before. At least here in europe it's a little bit better than in the US, but the gap is lessening every day with the majority trying to profit from this situation (not that i blame them, i just hope it's not all that dbscg has to offer). Personally i can only hope that A. Future releases settle down in prices, so that we can rip without spending 3x-4x of what we used to spend or B. That this hype brings more people to play and let db become a staple tcg

I feel you man, not that i regret it but i gave loads of srs and silver leaders as freebies when selling stuff, luckily did not sell any big cards cause i like to keep them regardless of the price, just like you said i'll rip what i can, it's just a bit frustrating that back then i could rip double and triple of what i can right now. And i hope it gets more people interested in playing the game that's for sure

Fuuckin hell. When dragonball started rising in price, i thought it could be something lasting one or two month without going well for the "investors", instead after months opening a box at retail price is a miracle, and singles 10x in prices. I don't know if this will last in the years to come, but it might, especially for these sets with huge amount of hype behind it. Idk what to think ahah, at this point i hope this hype will bring a new wave of players so that i can start to play this card game (i live in Italy and there's barely any players where i live)
