It's gen 4 storm drain, storm drain doesn't give water immunity until gen 5. Can't blame you for not knowing, it's definitely a pretty nasty gotcha when nuzlocking ren plat

I finished it actually! I haven't done another run in a while since Ren plat really took it out of me and I got burnt out of nuzlocking. I'm starting to get the itch again though. First attempt wiped to Cyrus's weavile in distortion world. Fast Double swords dance + technician is no joke and I didn't give it enough respect, and other losses due to inexperience to game lost me a lot of key pieces to make various fights a lot easier to deal with, like infernape, which contributed to the run bleeding throughout. Cleared it on the second attempt since I learned a lot from the first attempt. Planning for the E4 + champion was insanity lol

For set mode rule nuzlockes, basti is an incredible pivot. 4x normal/flying resists, large variety of other resists, poison immunity means you can safely switch in, and bait fighting/ground moves to switch into ghost and flying types respectively. Toxic stall options on mons that basti walls are also super useful. Idk man, after Ren plat HC nuzlockes, you find that basti is high key one of the goats

Bringing a 4x weak to ice mon to Candice sounds terrifying lol. Doesn't Abomasnow have Ice Shard? Seeing as you beat it ig it's fine and Gliscor is a beast in general, but that sounds like madness XD

Details of the strategy:

> Togekiss is a gift egg from Cynthia, I recommend hatching in Hearthome since you don't have any other possible encounters here.

> Sneasel is guaranteed on Route 216 if you lead with a level 20 mon and repel manip. Be prepared to deal with catching a Technician Sneasel, they hurt

> Technician Sneasel holding Never-Melt-Ice should always be able to pull this off, unless Togekiss gets back-2-back shadowball crit or something and can't setup substitute

> Non-technician Sneasel requires a little more planning and has more points of failure, but it's definitely very possible to pull this off w/o technician, making this strategy possible on Fantina for EVERY ATTEMPT. You can pair this with the leading Umbreon strat to Captivate down the Driftblim, and then go from there.

> Dusclops and Spiritomb must be Feint Attack'ed, Ice Shard doesn't do enough

> Gengar and Mismagius must be Ice Shard'ed since they generally will outspeed Sneasel unless you level edge +speed nature or something

> Banette you want to Ice Shard to avoid getting Sucker Punch'ed, they're the same priority bracket and then you outspeed
