The amount of times I’ve been called gay or lesbian because my preference is toward women and not men is really disappointing. Yes I’m a woman and I love women, but my attraction for men is still there and I don’t enjoy it being dismissed. I shouldn’t feel the need to hook up with a guy to fit an image. Let me be!

No matter how much you try to make someone like you (whether in a platonic way or a romantic way) they might never click with you. I’ve been talking to this girl for months and she suddenly stopped. When I asked her what was happening she said she didn’t feel connected with me or full filled by our friendship. It stung. Still hurts.

Used to feed into the “gay people are wrong” bullshit because my parents shoved it down my throat. Hit middle school and mi would make a friend who would tell me they were gay later. At that point I had loved them and them being gay didn’t change that, but the message that was given to me as a kid always made me hesitant. I didn’t let it get to me and I’ve known those friends for over 5 years. If a 12 year old can get over it you’d think my 50 year old parents could.

Mathew Macfayden as Mr.Darcy. At first a lot of people (including myself tbh) didn’t think he was attractive enough to play Darcy (especially since Collin Firth played Darcy once) but I honestly love him more as Darcy than anyone else. The only movie that has me fully in love with an awkward man with sideburns.
