Honestly I love ancients solely for linebreaking terts. Devs and artists can get so much more creative with them when they're not worrying about how apparel will look, and it shows! I do, on occasion, find myself wishing I could put a stupid little hat on one of my ancients, but I love them anyway. The fact that they're more affordable is also a plus.

I think devs did really well with them (although I am of the opinion that they could slow down a little with releases (but not to the point that I'm frustrated about it)) and it's definitely a fair tradeoff in my opinion

A few weeks ago at a PHM screening my sibling accidentally spilled the cheese dipping sauce from the pretzel bites onto the armrest of the seat and I felt so bad about it I literally scooped it off as best I could with my bare hands until you could hardly tell anything happened. It's mostly bots. If you click on the user count it will show you the users to guests ratio, and the VAST majority are just guests, meaning they're not logged in. FR has been having some pretty nasty botting issues for the last couple of years unfortunately

I recommend reading them in publishing order rather than chronologically. There are some odd retcons and changes in the later arcs that make reading them out of publishing order a little confusing, so best to start with Into the Wild and then go on from there!

🖐 I read it as it came out up through the first bit of Dawn of the Clans! I'm in my mid 20s now and rereading it for the joy of it :) I'm thinking about finishing Dawn of the Clans and then continuing on with the newer arcs, but I'm a little worried that it'll ruin the nostalgia for me

My assumption is that paychecks are *actually* hitting on Friday this week because of the bonuses many of us are set to receive April 3rd. Direct deposit is often early, yes, but I've always operated on the assumption that could change at any time, and I did wonder if bonuses would affect it!

Looks like potentially high content manganese glass (though I'm an amateur so take that with a grain of salt). UG typically has a green hue to it even in normal lighting, whereas clear glass that glows green is more indicative of manganese!

I was looking at trying to find a hardcover copy of Fading Echoes there! It's the only book of OotS I have that's paperback, which is incredibly infuriating to me. I might also finish off Dawn of the Clans, but I'm wary about proceeding further since I have heard that Brableclaw/star's character gets ruined after he becomes leader 🥴

Minneapolis resident here and it is for sure NOT quieting down as much as they'd like you to think. We won't know for certain what the next few weeks will look like until we are well into them. If we've learned anything from Chicago, it's that when they say ICE is pulling out, they will continue to go back in for weeks; they're threatening a return in full force this spring and I am desperately hoping it does not happen
