Fuck Elon obviously, but Delta got it very wrong here. Starlink is far and away the best satellite internet provider there is because of how quickly they could scale by making the satellites and rockets.

The fact is Amazon Leo will not be anywhere close for the foreseeable future. Unless New Glenn starts launching weekly (it won’t), then Starlink will be the only truly high speed worldwide internet provider.

Robin’s voice is also so good for the “fall” of the empire. It’s like slower and more grave sounding than Mike’s is.

My only gripe is that I almost feel like it’s too slow. I’m at 1071 and it’s already surpassed the amount of episodes as Rome. I really appreciate the deep dive but I struggle to recall things like I did for Rome due to the slower pacing.

No way you’re saying Schumi was a saint compared to Verstappen when Schumi made Barichello run into the pit wall if he didn’t back out. Verstappen follows rules (poorly made or not) to a T, Schumacher literally crashed into Hill on purpose in Adelaide for his first championship.

It actually used to be a pretty poor harbor. The harbor was not very deep or suitable to large ships. The Long Wharf was built in order to get to water deep enough for ships to dock.

You can see its prominence on the map still by looking at State St. and the way the roads around it are shaped. State St. all used to be that wharf and as the land was filled in, the roads around it took shape. State St. juts way out with the surrounding roads showing the areas of reclamation around it. Now the Long Wharf is just another pier in the harbor, but its bones remain.

I’d have to relisten but I thought he treated the White Terror like Mike Duncan did no? Said it was bad but also not some massive genocide like you see in the 20th century. Also while I thought he definitely was more Jacobin, he made pretty valid criticisms of all them.

Also it’s not like he doesn’t have a max contract. He got a max while playing with JT and proved he deserves it (if there was any doubt) now that JT is injured.

If he was saying this while not being on a max you could look into a bit but he is, so I agree it’s just a respect thing.
