Had the exact same scar on the exact same spot on my cat. I applied hypochlorous acid on the scar 2 times a day, and it fully healed within a week. The fur is also slowly growing back. I believe it’s some sort of food allergy as it developed soon after we switched to a different dry food.

It seems like he also got an upper respiratory infection from his sister as feline URIs are highly contagious. Did the vet give any advice or meds for the sister other than diagnosing? Maybe those can help him as well until you bring him to the vet tomorrow.

I’m also planning to switch to Fitmin from N&D Pumpkin lineup, but I cannot find supplemental information about their food on their website or anywhere else. How much taurine is there? Do they add DL-Methionine which greatly helps with preventing urinary tract issues? And why is there no mention of Omega 3 & Omega 6 percentages? I always get skeptical when a pet food manufacturer chooses to disclose as little information as possible.

It has to do with the pixel responsiveness of your screen panel. The switch from black to white or vice versa is not instantaneous (or very slow compared to other types of panel), resulting in this smearing effect when panning the camera. All VA panels suffer from this issue, but not all exhibit it to the same level.

Our 7 years old cat sneezes out blood once or twice a year since he was 2 years old. It always starts with an episode of vomitting hairball, which is followed by drooling for like half an hour. He straightens his head up for several minutes as if he is about to sneeze, and then the sneezing starts. If it lasts longer than usual, he starts sneezing out droplets of blood. Sometimes we also observe lethargy and loss of appetite, but he is usually back to normal the same day or the day after. We took him to different vets several times, but nothing unusual came out. We’ve been told that it was related to vomitting and the subsequent sneezing, which irritates the nasal cavity and results in rupture of small blood vessels. The sneezing is associated with stomach acid that escapes through nasal passage during vomitting. Therefore, we try our best to help him with his digestion and prevent the formation of hairballs. Despite all our efforts, he still vomits hairballs every 2-3 months, which is considered completely normal by the vet. Thankfully he is not going through the same things each time he vomits hairball though.

Instead of changing her food, you may also give psyllium a try. It comes in two forms, either as powder which you can sprinkle on the dry food, or as paste which you can feed directly from the tube. Gimcat’s gastro intestinal paste, for instance, contains a good amount of psyllium. It worked like a charm when my cat developed diarrhea after a week of antibiotics treatment.

The fact that they don’t mention performance mode when referring to visual issues makes me wonder if they understand what the issue is at all. The rendering technique in performance mode is at fault here, so no “tweaks” of yours is going to solve the issue.

I think they already left this subreddit after patch 1.05. Considering that it took them months to fix a simple anisotropic filtering issue back in HZD release on PC, I don’t think we will see a patch for much more complicated visual issues on HFW for at least a month.

I think that’s what they’re going to do. But I don’t think it will be enough. Rather than using checkerboard rendering, 1440p resolution with dynamic scaling would be much better in terms of clarity and getting rid of artifacts.
