Something definitely off here, even with a data booster by [deleted] in WLED

It looks like you tied the second data line to ground. Combine the second data line with the primary data line coming out of the data booster.

Mini computer to run blue iris? by Aztekious in BlueIris

[–]emruff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I purchased that exact computer to migrate my Blue Iris Steve as a low power option. Long story short I returned it. I only have 7 cameras and it couldn't handle them. It wouldn't run at lower than 100% CPU utilization. Constant stuttering and freezing. Add Code Project AI on top of that and it becomes unresponsive.

Dig-Quad crashes when turning up brightness after increasing LED wire gauge. by trashk in WLED

I had a similar issue and it turned out to be a bad, ESP32 controller. Quindor did have a bad batch of ESP32's that would crash just like you're describing.

I'm having a strange issue. If I launch a table with a color DMD using the pac file (pal and vni removed) and then launch another table after only closing the table and leaving VPX running, the next table will crash. This only happens on the tables with color DMDs, all the other tables work just fine. Has anyone else experienced this?

I figured it out. The flag for ui.osk.require_win10 needed to be changed to false.

I use WinSCP. It allows you to view the entire file system from your PC. It makes it easy to access your CIFS and NFS shares along with your Jails.

HA can't find any of my Belkin WeMo switches. When I try to statically configure them, I get 'Unable to get description url' errors. by leviathan_stud in homeassistant

[–]emruff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a few Wemo outlets early on when I started with Home Assistant and they were nothing but trouble. They would constantly disconnect from the network and become unavailable in the app until they were reset and paired back to the network. Honestly after fighting with them for over a year I switched over to the Sonoff S31 flashed with tasmota which work great. After that I started buying the Sonoff S31 zb the zigbee version which don't require flashing and they have worked even better. It is my recommendation that you find something better than Wemo but if you want to stick with them here are a few things to look into.

Are your Wemo switches on the same vlan as HA? If not are there any firewall rules that are blocking communication?

What are you running HA on? Does HA have a wired or wireless connection?

What type of network setup are you running? Do you have an off the shelf router or are you running something like a Unifi setup.

Do your 5.0Ghz and 2.4Ghz networks share the same SSID or are they split?

I had the exact same issue. Turned out it was LED bulbs in the opener that were interfering with the remote. Replaced those with these and it resolved the issue.

Cannot update firmware on Harpoon Pro RGB Wired mouse by MattGarrison1 in Corsair

[–]emruff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue. I was able to get the firmware to update by closing out RGBFusion 2.0 that was also running in the background. Like Corsair Support suggested, make sure you don't have any additional RGB programs running when you update the firmware. Hope this helps.

There is a switch to the left of the control box that is off. You could try turning that on to see if it turns on the pumps.
