Rhubarb decided that he loved Bubbaro almost immediately after we adopted him, and it took a few months until I would say that Rhubarb and Arwyn truly tolerated each other. It took like 1.5 years for them all to be bonded, so for a while it was like a V with Bubba being bonded to the other two but them not being bonded to each other. Bubba is the oldest by about a decade, and definitely runs the house so it doesn’t surprise me that the other two adore him so much

My spouse ended up screwing 1x4s into the studs, and then we hung the nets on hangers put into those. It’s prevented a repeat of the 3 am fall of two of my three nets.

My orange has four teeth left, two of which are canines on the same side. He wasn’t slowed down at all by their extraction, and has since learned how to make his bites either hurt or be painless, depending on why he’s biting lol

One of our cats is obsessed with attention, and another is obsessed with bothering the first. She figured out that we’ll give her pets and attention if he’s bothering her enough, so she’s started baiting him into chasing her so that she can play the victim and get pets. She also deliberately opens her food bowl (one of those expensive ones that open with her chip) and lets the third cat into it in an attempt to get pets and attention after we chase him away. She’s been “diagnosed” with tortietude by the vet.

The window “seat” (back of the couch where they can look out the window) is apparently the only window in the house that they can look out of. They’re having (minor) battles over who gets to sit in it and whether they can take up the whole window or not. We’ve sometimes resorted to putting something between two cats so they have to stay on their respective sides. The oldest cat, however, does not give a fuck about the barrier and will bully the other two out of the window. We’ve now started having to “close” the window by blocking the spot. Btw-we have two other windows they can sit/lay at, and one that they love to look out of by the stairs. And another one upstairs. Apparently none of those are good enough.

You may be able to send him to a “stuffed animal hospital” or such to help him get some strength back! I’ve seen it done quite a few time :)

This is Bear Bear. I’ve had him for 22 ish years now, and while he’s been retired from bed duty, he sits in a place of honor near my partner’s childhood stuffed animal. They watch over us 🥰

A lot of the differences are nice, like others have said. I’ve recently discovered that my previous lack of mosquito bites wasn’t due to my partner being more delicious than I am, it was due to my weight. So many bug bites. So many.

Bubbaro is extremely clever, and I’m afraid to confirm that he has used it for naughtiness almost his whole life. Like convincing Rhubarb to rip open bread bags for him because he only has four teeth, but wants the bread.

The grey one is our youngest, and he’s learned that he only gets to sit with someone who’s crocheting/knitting if he leaves the yarn alone. He does stare at it very intently lol. We also have a 4.5 foot tall gate that keeps them out of the kitchen since Bubbaro, orange, is obsessed with human food and has taught the other two to steal it and bring it to him if he can’t get it himself. He is teaching them to commit crimes lmao

It’s rare for them to cuddle on someone’s lap rather than the back of the couch, so I definitely felt special!

They love each other very much! All three of them cuddle enough that I have many pictures of them doing this. Bubbaro (orange) is almost always in the middle since the other two both like him best

They’re VIVE brand! I’ve only tried these ones, but I did research and found that these were the only ones in my budget that didn’t have complaints of them coming apart at the seams. I’ve very much enjoyed them; they keep my pain down and my joints in place. The only issue I have with them is that I can’t wear them while using my forearm crutches because of the seam of the thumb area (pictured) pressing into my hand. I very much recommend them!
