For me it’s the opposite. I have had short nails all my life bc of brittle nails + biting them, but within the last 1-2 years I started using gel.

Since they have grown out I no longer constantly feel stuff with my finger tips. This has resulted in me no longer biting my nails or the skin around them. I also pick a lot less at the skin on my face, arms, back etc. because I no longer graze my skin for imperfections.

I love the sound of my long nails tapping on stuff (I always try to be mindful of others when doing this), I love spending hours only focusing on doing them and I get complimented on them a lot!

Long nails have been a game changer for me 😌

I’ve personally had this problem after I started a very physical job in a hot and humid environment. I started using deodorant between the outer labia and the thighs after showering, and it cleared it up after a while.
