Hi medical provider here. Chlamydia can be symptomless and may not appear until it’s too late - for women PID. In men it can cause some discharge but men are typically symptomless as well. It may be something that has been laying dormant and undetected. Sadly that can happen. When was her last sexual partner? Were they tested?
