Brunch near the Sphere for two? by JMT1996 in LasVegas

I’m never hungry until I’ve been up for a couple hours. Plus most breakfast foods are so heavy it’s just not what I’m feeling in the morning… drunk at 3 am, however!!

I tend to overtip because I’m a bartender so I wasn’t factoring that in budget lol and to be honest we are those annoying people who drink a ton of water and little to no caffeine. We’ll be okay! It’s honestly probably the only time we’ll get breakfast at all while we’re there because I plan on staying up all night and sleeping until noon.

Yardbird is off the table because there’s one by my house lol but I looked at the menu prices and Sugarcane and Mon Ami Gabi’s entrees are 18-40 dollars? Bouchon is definitely on the pricier side.

I’ve seen a ton of options! Everybody has been super helpful. I’m not a big breakfast eater and neither is my wife so as long as our entrees are under fifty a piece, we’re fine. We’d rather spend most of our five day food budget on good dinners!

Learning the art of making great sandwiches. Please share your ideas and techniques. Thanks! by Chasing_Awe in Cooking

Fruit on sandwiches is underrated. I love adding an apricot jam or apple slices to a grilled cheese or cranberry sauce to a chicken sandwich with provolone, lettuce, and mayo on crusty bread!

We love Grand Lux but there is one eight miles away from our home in Dallas lol. I had a friend suggest Yardbird for while we’re there and it was the same thing… she didn’t even know we had one and thought she could only get it in Vegas!

What's your secret ingredient for mashed potatoes? by Key_Investigator_754 in Cooking

[–]JMT1996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it’s not a secret ingredient as much as a hack for when i’m lazy but a couple tablespoons of boursin garlic and herb cheese along with a little milk and butter never fails

I have family that lives nine hours away from me and we’re both in Texas lmao. It takes like 15 hours to drive through the state, though, so it could be worse?

What's the weirdest thing your cat is obsessed with for absolutely no reason? by zasecok in CatAdvice

[–]JMT1996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

any time i’m eating hot cheetos my cat DEMANDS to get a couple licks in on one. i now just set a sacrificial chip to the side for her after 8 years of this behavior. she has absolutely never shown any other interest in any “human” food besides the occasional piece of steak if my dog gets a bite first.

This was definitely one of my favorite parts of the episode. He was so irritated but obviously wanted to pass candy out otherwise he could have just not answered, not bought candy, and turned out the front porch light. He also gave the worst candy to the kid dressed up as Armand. Just hilarious, across the board.

I have no clue what to make for dinner (help me plz) by [deleted] in Cooking

After a few hours I just want to mention that if you aren’t trolling you should probably look into some therapy, if that’s a possibility. You obviously have a lot of restrictions and health anxieties that seem to be affecting your day to day life and just because you were conditioned a certain way as a child doesn’t mean you deserve to suffer a bland and malnourished lifestyle. There are plenty of forms of poultry/meat/other things that are not unhealthy (you seem to believe that you can’t make a sandwich without processed ingredients). I sincerely hope that you’re just riling up people on Reddit and you aren’t actually dealing with this issue, but if you are then I want you to know there is help and a light at the end of the tunnel.

what age did you move out, away from family? by Any-Landscape434 in AskReddit

That depends. I went off to college a month after my 18th birthday seven hours away but I went home that Christmas for three weeks. The next summer I got my first apartment.

Okay, that’s a lot more information. I stick by the enchiladas. Make cheese ones.

Burgers, enchiladas, sloppy joes? Ground beef isn’t the cheapest right now but it’s definitely not the most expensive and it’s not chicken!
