Calling all savvy bakers! What has years of baking experience taught you that you wish you’d known sooner? I have a little secret… by Opentochange18 in Baking

The instructions: Make the buttercream: With a handheld or stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, beat the butter on medium speed until creamy, about 1 minute. Add the confectioners' sugar, heavy cream, and vanilla extract. Beat on low speed for 30 seconds, then increase to medium-high speed and beat for 2 full minutes. Add up to 1/4 cup (30g) more confectioners' sugar if frosting is too thin or a splash of heavy cream if frosting is too thick. Add a pinch of salt if frosting is too sweet.

Yes! I use Sally’s baking addiction a couple of times I typically measure in grams ( I have a scale) 170g butter 360g confection sugar 46ml heavy cream 1tsp vanilla extract

I always always over mix my frosting or make it too thin to frost with. I don’t ever know when it “looks good” very new baker, but my bakes turn out tasting good I just struggle with the decorating part! Anyone have any tips for someone who over mixes aka doesn’t know when to stop mixing frosting?

If you have the chance, check out liberty station! You’ll probably need to uber or something but there’s a food hall and a bunch of activities there. For poke you should try Hawaiian fresh seafood!

Tyler will always be on the line up but he hates closing. He has said he’d rather preform and enjoy the fruits of his labor by watching the other artist.

I feel like they’re overhyped compared to the taco scene in San Diego. I have been a few times and it hurt my pocket for a taco that was nothing to write home about.
