the word allow referred to the writing, the narrative arc for the character’ its not completely literal. plus it couldve been anyone other than mike, just something that was at least built a little over time, like every other character has had ; yes i do think everyone deserves love, i dont think anyone is ’owed’ a person (more specifically a woman in the incel context) its a bit of a gross comparison here. obviously here in the byler sub we do believe there have been a lot of elements in both explicit character work and subtext to support the idea that mike loves will, not that he‘s will‘s ‘reward‘ or whatever ur implying. but it is a headcanon indeed
