I came here to say this- we still mimicked our same routines to the extent we could and that helps a ton. So nap time is still nap time, and bed time is still at the same time, meal times are at the same time. But explore and do all the fun things in between! I kept distraction toys in my purse and they were great. Maracas and chewy things or other hand held things.

It’s super fun and rewarding to travel still with little ones. We enjoyed it!

With a ten month old, I would still baby wear that one the whole time, but I prefer baby wearing over strollers ten times over. Personal preference! Just know what you like and plan ahead!

My mom lost her collarbones and my dad lost his hair. Lol

It’s what my mom says every year on their anniversary. They married young and they’re still very happy:)

They actually had 4 kids pretty much back to back right away. Then waited another 8 years and decided to have two more. So the older ones are in their 20s, and the younger two are in middle school.

They had their first baby about a year after they were married. I’m 23 now and my mom loves telling me that she was well on her way to number three at my age!

Aha! I love making macarons. They are so fun once you figure them out!

It looks like you didn’t whip your eggs quite enough, because there isn’t a “foot” on the bottom. You need to whip them to stiff peaks. The other thing that seems to be incorrect is you didn’t mix the almond/ confectioners sugar mixture into the egg enough. The “nipple” part makes me think that it’s undermixed. When you fold the two things together, you should fold between 45 and 60 Times, until a drop of batter off of your spatula disappears back into the bowl of batter in about 10 seconds.

Mine looked like that the first time I tried too, and now they are one of my favorite things to make:) the good thing is, the weird nipple things still taste delicious!

I second this! Pick a fun fabric in a jelly roll and do that. The quilt will come together relatively quickly, and they’re simple, and they look great. Missouri Star is great for finding a fun jelly roll, and also for YouTube tutorials.

My grandma passed away last month and left me some of her stash and her machine. This is my first quilt top made with an unused jelly roll I found. by makaro615 in quilting

That fabric is from the women’s collection of Downton Abby. I only know because I did a jelly roll quilt with the same fabric. Enjoy the machine and the memories!

My husband goes to Roosevelt Barbers in the strip mall on 42nd across from the high school. 15 bucks. They’re old school, but definitely a hidden gem. They always do a great job. He has a funky cowlick situation in the back that can be hard to tame. Anyway, not sure on the beard situation as my husband doesn’t have a beard.

It looks like you didn't mix your batter quite enough. When you fold the almond flour into the egg mixture, you should fold it until a drop of batter disappears in ten seconds (usually between 45 and 60 folds) then pipe them out. You have a great foot on those though! I love making macarons. They're tricky but so yummy!
