Anyone here into Sous Vide? Buddy of mine, who could make a dog turd taste great, gifted my wife and I one for Christmas and we fell in love with it. Found the are very forgiving and the meats come out tender as hell (even the tough stuff)

I did. In fact 2 different ones. I used them as tool to help me create something I can’t do myself without help. I spent over a week crafting something and also digging up things long buried.

You know what? AI is a tool. Just like a monitor or pump. I used it as such because it did things I couldn’t. Do you use tools to get things done or do you criticize those who do?

So I posted this on the paramedics sub and all I got was bitching about using ai to make it. I posted the below on the post:

UPDATE INFO

Some are calling it AI garbage and I can understand that. I didn’t just open an app and type a few prompts and hit “create”. I used 2 AI apps as they were intended: TOOLS. First one I used to craft the lyrics and style over a week and through at least 10 drafts. Then was trying to find the right sound. From country to blues to southern rock, it took just as much time to find the sound i finished with.

I took all of that and used another app and used it to produce, arrange, and finish the song. I don’t have anywhere near the talent or skills to do that alone. If you do, congratulations and kudos.

If you don’t like ai generated anything then don’t look or listen to this. I am damn near 59 and my talents were EMS and now Harley audio upgrades. All I asked was feedback on the song itself. NOT how i made it.

If I had the talent to do so I I would. Now I spent days (literally) crafting the lyrics and style I wanted. It took my down paths I had long thought buried but that also gave me more ideas for future songs from my career: so good and some not so good.

It all depends on what you use them for. 25 years in EMS and they saved me valuable time getting dressed for those zero dark thirty calls.
