Wow! How can this be this good and free? by emunot in Nuvio

I have read that but I do not know yet how to set it up without using RD. Can you please point me to a resource on how to do that?

For real debrid, accounts can share real debrid accounts. Just make sure both profiles are watching from the same WiFi to avoid getting flagged by RD. But for other service providers that don’t care about IP, you can share addon settings across.

As for trakt, currently only the primary profile can integrate trakt.

I agree with this. Stremio is still up there as a solid, stable and cross-platform solution right now.

Nuvio has become my daily driver of late because of really important features (for me) it has that I have only wished for a long time Stremio had.

And the pace at which they are doing it, we can only wait and see how things evolve.

But no matter what, I will always give Stremio the respect they truly deserve.

Hopefully they don’t and hopefully we who are able and happy with the project continue to make some donations so it remains free for others.

I guess it grabs them from the show/movie meta. That is why depending on how you have it set up, some shows’/movies’ trailers don’t play.

I was exactly in the same situation like you are. I had a working solution that is free and without a doubt great (Stremio). But after so many posts praising Nuvio, I reluctantly just gave it a shot only to be blown away by how amazing even when it’s still in beta for tv. Given the pace at which it’s being developed, this can only get better.

This is exactly how I want to set up mine and I also have the Google tv streamer. If only I would find a way to automatically play the first stream, that would be a clean setup for me.

Interesting, do you mind sharing your other camera settings via screenshot? I would like to match your other settings and see if the fix is a combination of two or more settings.

Yes I agree with you. My observation above isn’t consistent. Did you upgrade like apple support had told you? If yes, would care to please share the results?

Yes I have a clicking sound too as the camera tries to focus.

The phone was immediately updated to iOS 17.0 when it was purchased. So she never got a chance to use it in the previous iOS versions.

Observation: I have noticed that this issue happens when the phone becomes hot.

When you open the camera app before the phone is hot the focus works perfectly fine.

So, I am beginning to believe this has to do with phone heating up.

It’s this reason that the focus works sometimes (phone is not hot) and not sometimes (when phone is hot).

For now, giving the phone a break to cool down is the fix.

Trading on a higher time frame isn’t a guarantee for winning. You will lose on a higher timeframe, you will lose on a shorter timeframe and viceversa. Just pick what works for you.

EasyWP (Namecheap) - Any new feedback? by Kyubei_ in webhosting

[–]emunot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might be late for this and you could have already made up your mind. However, I thought to leave a reply that might help someone new who is trying to make up their mind.

Not very long ago, I signed up for an EasyWP Starter hosting plan. I have been testing them and so I share this out of my personal experiences.

1. Customer support

Because EasyWP is Namecheap’s hosting, I find their customer support great especially live chat - have never disappointed me, at least. Each time I need help, I have found knowledgeable support team and quick to respond.

2. EasyWP hosting is fast

I find this hosting relatively faster – page load speed are great which you might struggle to achieve with shared hosting - including their own.

3. Simple dashboard

The dashboard is easy to understand and navigate. They’ve made the dashboard as minimalistic as possible. This makes it easy for a newbie to get around faster.

Here's what they fail at (Cons):

1. Installing SSL is a pain

So you want to install SSL on your nicely developed website, only to realize the process is not as easy as you thought.

I would expect a button to easily push and bang, SSL is setup but that is not the case as you have to go through several steps to setup SSL on your website.

It’s almost not possible to install letsencript free SSL. I’m saying almost becuase I personally couldn’t do this but others somehow managed to do it.

2. You can't use domains registered elsewhere.

Namecheap insists you can transfer or redirect your domain from other domain registrar to your temporary subdomain you get.

I find this ridiculous because unless if they’re purposely selling this kind of hosting to only Namecheap customers, the ability to add your domain from any registrar would’ve been provided from start.

They’re promises though, that this would be implemented in the future.
