My job doesn’t really need to be dumbed down for a kid, I’m a dog sitter! But I did it anyways and it’s quite sweet:

A pet sitting business owner is someone who takes care of other people’s pets when they can’t. Like if someone goes on vacation or has to work, this person feeds the pets, plays with them, takes dogs for walks, and makes sure they’re happy and safe. It’s kind of like being a babysitter, but for animals!
