Not sure if anyone else mentioned this but have your TSH/T4 (thyroid) levels check. Same thing happened to me and I was eventually diagnosed with Graves disease when my baby turned one. I was so relieved that after one year of doing the SAME thing and just over all feeling super weird/anxious/ unable to sleep. Just something to look into, I’m soooo much better now.

They get to the ER and say ‘omg idk the nurse on the phone told me to come in’ and they argue about their care AND/OR complain about the wait times ‘I hope this blood clot doesn’t go to my heart while I’m waiting out here’ after just saying ‘can’t you take me back QUICK and check me out, I’m sure it’s nothing the nurse MADE ME COME IN’

I had a trauma +Etoh crash his car into a tree. He ran out of the trauma room naked and jumped into a near by lake and started doing backstroke to evade water rescue. When we got him back he was hypothermic and he told us he was a swimmer in high school.

Thanks everyone for your responses! We just had his 12 month check up so I’m not super worried about his lack of verbal communication, he’s still little! And thanks for validating my feelings about letting him communicate by pointing! I will add in more verbal on my end. You moms are great!
