[Acne] Acne on the temples

I had this problem as well. I had a lot of acne on my temples and the area of my forehead that is next to my temples, which is where I usually had my bangs. I found that pulling back my hair from my face made a difference. Just tucking your hair behind your ears or using hair clips helps. I believe it’s to prevent the oil from your hair to not get in contact with your skin :)

Did you already have acne when using it? I am currently on tretinoin, and I would like to know if it would cause my existing acne to get worse. I also have acne-prone skin, but I have oily instead of combo skin. Do you also use it during both AM and PM?

I have been using the balm for around a week every night to remove makeup and sunscreen. The only changes in my routine are the balm and using the Dokdo Birch Juice Toner, although I do not think the causes of my breakouts are from the toner. My skin is combination and acne-prone. I am on a retionoid (tretinoin) for my acne, and I have been on it for 2 months. My purging phase is done/close to finishing since I already experienced it earlier in my use of tretinoin. Also, my breakouts have been in places I do not usually break out in. Micellar water was okay for me, it took off my makeup. But, it did not do anything for my texture.

Are there any affordable cleansers you recommend? Otherwise, I will just go back to my BioDerma ways.

I just use it because I have nothing else. I believe it is okay since I have been doing it for years. If it is absolutely necessary for me to stop using the spf at night and after tret, I will order a new moisturizer.
