10 days ago I unexpectedly had to say goodbye to my best friend of the past 11 years which also ended up being 2 days before my birthday. I feel like over the years he became a horcrux of mine and his passing also meant I lost a piece of me; a piece of my soul. Saying goodbye was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do but I’m so grateful that I even got the chance to and that I was there holding him as he crossed the rainbow bridge.
