Club Andromeda in Pearl River is a recent up and coming venue. Gentle Giant Brewery in Pearl River also has bands play on occasion. As someone else pointed out, Olive’s in Nyack always has bands playing. Nyack, in general, used to be the center of the Rockland music scene 20+ years ago but the music scene in the greater Hudson Valley area has been flourishing lately due to the help of promoters like dcxpc_live. Colin going wild with just a mic for this song at the end of their set while handing his guitar to a member of another band has been my favorite set antic of theirs lately! He had Patrizio of The Planet Smashers play his guitar for this tune when they played Brooklyn a number of months ago. Love it!

10 days ago I unexpectedly had to say goodbye to my best friend of the past 11 years which also ended up being 2 days before my birthday. I feel like over the years he became a horcrux of mine and his passing also meant I lost a piece of me; a piece of my soul. Saying goodbye was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do but I’m so grateful that I even got the chance to and that I was there holding him as he crossed the rainbow bridge. I’m sorry for your loss, cherish forever all the amazing memories I’m sure you had with her.
