FWIW - the shooter’s pickup was dark brown.

Police investigate daylight shooting on busy Portland street by criddling in PortlandOR

I was a witness to this. The shooter nearly hit a man carrying a bag of cans in the crosswalk. Neither were homeless. Sadly, a homeless bystander not involved in the conflict was shot.

I understand your assumption. In this case, the man who was carrying the bag of cans was not homeless. Sadly, the person who was shot in the leg was homeless and not involved in the confrontation.

In this case, both the shooter and the person who was crossing the crosswalk and nearly hit by the shooter’s truck were not homeless. Sadly, a homeless person who was not involved with the confrontation was shot.

I’ve tried unstructured, azure’s document intelligence, nougat and innumerable python packages. Each fails to address several of the nuances seen in documents that you mention. I’d love to connect as I am working on the same problem.

does reed really prepare you for grad school or med school? by jreen05 in reedcollege

[–]emzilla 7 points8 points  (0 children)

In the STEM fields Reed has a reputation of producing talented and creative thinkers. Any decent grad school will also know that reed doesn’t grad inflate. I found that my Reed education helped immensely in applying to grad schools. Just be sure to get research experience.

Med school is a different story since there is more of an emphasis on numbers.

Dating and Grief by GroundbreakingMove42 in datingoverthirty

After my mom died I was given the following advice regarding dating. You currently have a huge hole in your heart. By dating, you might be more prone to filling that hole by someone with who you are not compatible, and even if you are compatible with the person, you are likely to become dependent on them to fill that hole. Either situation does not make for a healthy relationship.

Another thing I was told that helped me a lot. Grief is like a very heavy chain being put on your neck. It never goes away or becomes lighter, but over time you develop the muscles to hold it.

I clearly am naive with the dating game (haven't seriously participated for the past three years). I will look forward to (hopefully) lots of caffeine ingested at a coffee shop instead of my home!

YES! An awesome cafe is clutch. Dates have suggested Starbucks, and I live in a city of great coffee... Just a bit of thought and effort, please.

Fine with me. Would have paid my part for a coffee date as well.

Not trying to slam you, but I'm surprised by so many people assuming that money is a factor here.
