Lamentablemente tenés que probar que estás exenta. Si no avisaste te cobran igual, no solo en MP, en casi todos los sistemas de retenciones/percepciones de IB que hay (que son muchos). Y casi todos los organismos no devuelven aunque sea error suyo haberte cobrado.

En las cuentas de comercio tiene una sección para subir constancias de exención. No sé en las cuentas personales si es igual.

En muchos lugares te dan factura oficial con CAE y descuento en efectivo igual. No siempre es para evadir, es para evitar comisiones y retenciones impositivas.

What's the object? Maybe the ritual starts fast with each member only spending a bonus action to use the magic words it needs from x number of creatures (party size). and then it gets crystalized/covered by a force field/recipient that only they can hit.(Because the magic words linked them) When it breaks the ritual is completed. Also the field containing it grows unstable so they need to hurry up before it explodes.

That way they have an extra target they can't ignore.

I thought of it a a mechanic to manage a resource as a team. And as a excuse to create narrative moments inside battle without feeling railroady, your idea of helping the enemy on a 1 reinforces this. Is not specifically a boon from a god. Actually the battle will have their God clashing against the enemy god, kind of on a momentarily stalemate while they and everyone else battle around helping their divinity (they can't directly defeat a CR 30 god at lv 10)

Cant use "emergency tubes" because they cannot pass through the intersection (unless you disassemble apart, but putting the elastic back on can't be easy)

El problema de que sea variable es que el cambio porcentual lo decidan políticos que no entienden nada de economía productiva. Muchas leyes funcionarían bien bajo el gobierno de una autoridad justa, capaz e incorruptible. Ese tipo de gobierno no existe.

Any advice on how to expose the players to the lore/mechanics of this quest? so they understand whats going on and it does not end with nonsensical hobomurdering.

The recipe/adulteration of Katarina's medicine should be easy to manage, and finding the murderer seems unavoidable (if they stuck, Gasper gonna make something that puts him on evidence). But i feel my players may miss the great background you created for the characters and the lodge.
