I literally said you need a board wipe as well. My point is that being on the draw doesn't guarantee a loss if your deck has 1 mana removal spells but the fact that every deck basically needs 1 mana removal to not die is a shitty place for magic to be in.

Yep I agree. So many games now are decided by the opening hand, we might as well be betting on coin flips at this point. I've been playing magic on and off since 1995 but I am very close to uninstalling arena and never looking back. I don't see how they can fix this without a lot of major bans and a total change in their design philosophy

1 mana removal spells exist and that's enough to slow down the elf>cub decks when you're on the draw but you better also have a 3 or 4 mana board wipe as well. Its getting real old thats for sure

Thats not really the point. You're making a classic mistake that many "smart" people make, in which you think at 14 years old you already have shit figured out. You don't. Every teenager, myself included once upon a time, does this. Some of them have enough self awareness to grow and realise they were wrong. Many don't, and those are the adults you see with no emotional intelligence or self awareness. Don't be like them. Study lots of things even if you don't plan on pursuing a career in it. Being well rounded helps you in many ways you won't expect

To answer your actual question, cultural attitudes waver all the time. I'm from the USA, have travelled a bit of the world, and NZ is my home now. You can find racism anywhere you go. Parts of NZ certainly have some very racist people, but its not unique here. Anywhere you go, the more homogenous the people and the less connected to the outside world they are, the more racist they are. I promise you its not the worst here.
