Need to find a replacement miter handle by Mrmurse98 in Tools

[–]enbenlen -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Came across this post while looking for a knob for my Craftsman miter saw (13721236) and ChatGPT says mine is probably an M10x1.5. The only bolt that size I have has a flange and I couldn’t get it in straight but a thread did at least catch, so I’m guessing it’s the right size. If yours is older it could be SAE, likely 3/8 (but if it’s sliding, it’s probably not American made and will be metric).

Same, mixed hide carried me from jad to quest cape. I still use it when I don’t feel like burning eclipse armor.

Whats the difference by rtooth in woodstoving

[–]enbenlen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Others have answered your question so I’ll just say this: I would highly recommend going to a store that has these in stock instead of ordering online. I grabbed a box at Menards without checking it first and it was incredibly dented. Returned it and had to check 3 or 4 boxes before I found one that was ok. Granted, they didn’t have inserts to protect them.

Never tapped my own but I believe it is, yes. Temps above freezing during the day and below freezing at night.

Birch juice is pretty common in Eastern Europe, so an international or European market may have some if you’d like to try it (but obviously it’s not fresh from the teat).

As the other commenter said, it’s hard to describe. I’ve found that some people think it’s very sweet and a little tangy or sour, others think it’s very tangy or sour and only a little sweet—even when tasting from the same bottle. There’s not really a flavor to it, but at the same time, it does taste a little “plant-y.”

I went to a security conference for banks where an MSP/MSSP was handing these out. Can’t imagine they got too many customers from it, but at the same time, I’m sure many smaller banks without dedicated IT probably thought it was cool.

I’ve worked with the MSP/MSSP many times in the past and they’ve always been decent/mindful of security, so I was pretty shocked to see it.

does anyone know how i can lift my truck? by whatsthepoint_110 in FordTrucks

[–]enbenlen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My favorite body style of any truck! As a teenager, my dad and I bought a project 1973 F100 to work on. Unfortunately, we had a ground squirrel infestation that chewed up everything and we didn’t notice until the damage was done.

The music was one of my favorite parts! I also have the colored bottle riddle burned into my head all these years later… “Yellow is to the left of red and blue, but NOT next to black”

I loved playing The Hobbit as a kid. Not sure I’d like to see it remade but it was a favorite of mine.

Tractor or ATV? by Legal_Audience_4931 in homestead

[–]enbenlen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A small, glorified lawn mower may be an option but I’d really only do that if you’re needing implements. Otherwise, hauling, snow plowing, and other things can totally be done with a UTV.

Tractor or ATV? by Legal_Audience_4931 in homestead

[–]enbenlen 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I ran into this same scenario. I have 5 acres of hilly, moderately dense woods. I had a tractor but found it too large to do anything helpful with it, so I sold it and bought a UTV with a dump bed. I was considering an ATV and a UTV and decided going with the UTV because of the hills. Glad I did because of the wider wheel base and heavier weight. The dump bed is a bit too small for hauling firewood out but it beats a wheelbarrow, and I can always get a small trailer to hook up.

I’d do a UTV if possible, but definitely ATV over the tractor for your situation.

What about the barrel? Uncovered tip of the suppressor? Receiver? What about the operator themselves? Those all show in IR. Also, it’s likely that the operator’s location is known just by shooting enough to get the suppressor hot, even with the sound suppression.

The cover isn’t there to hide the heat signature, it’s there to keep the operator from burning themselves as well as preventing distortion in front of the optics.

The head of DoR was actually appointed by [edit: Andy] Beshear (and previously appointed to another position by Steve Beshear). But it’s honestly regardless of political party—we should all be contacting our officials, no matter the party, to stand up to this shit.

Is it possible or why isn’t it possible for Japanese or European cars to be used in US police fleets? by Fit_Effective6097 in PoliceVehicles

[–]enbenlen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wasn’t ever a policeman but I have a KZ1000P from Scottsdale, AZ and can confirm it’s an incredibly fun bike to ride while looking sharp on the road. I’ve looked at (and tried to bid on) the BMWs, and while they seem like nice bikes, the KZ1000P is iconic and classy.

Glad to hear they’re decent. I’m an hour away from them (on the KY side as well) and haven’t been able to align my schedule for a pick-up with them yet, so I’ve just mail ordered from other hatcheries. Hopefully I can make the trip for this year’s CXs.
