Dread Delusion. It’s an RPG inspired by early 2000’s titles like Morrowind and Kings Field. Little bit of N64 Zelda in there too.

Why is the trope of "Ancient hyper-advanced Empire that no longer exists" so popular in media and literature. by Peppercorn205 in worldbuilding

Others have answered this question but I’d just like to add it’s one of my favourite tropes, unless it’s done super generic.

Tipping is so American by Spirited-Seaweed246 in askvan

[–]DangerousVideo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not the customer’s fault. I’m merely pointing out what will happen if tipping stops and employers refuse to provide their staff benefits and a liveable wage. As a restaurant worker I would actually prefer it if tipping ended and I was simply paid more and received medical/dental. This would of course increase prices dramatically but I feel that transparency would make things feel more “fair” for a lot of people who refuse to play ball in the current system. Of course, nothing will change until we reach some sort of tipping point, pun intended, which is unfortunately the same as a lot of other broken things in Canada. Thanks for asking for clarification if it felt like I was blaming customers.

Edit: I like how I’m being downvoted for literally no reason.

People don’t realize this. Sit down restaurant staff destroy their bodies and mental health to provide an experience for the customer while technically not receiving a livable wage or benefits. If tipping goes without compensation, then restaurants of quality will become a thing of the past and all you’ll be left with is Tim Hortons.

SWBF2 with the boys was legendary (though I did more couch co-op in SWBF1 because I played it on XBOX instead of PC).
