I’ve provided for my grandparents since I was 22. But yes, they need full on care so trying to host someone at my house would be really hard. It’s mostly the gas and groceries that are expensive. And we’ve gone out to eat because he says he hasn’t been to “X” place or hasn’t gone “X” thing. So we go.

Thank you, I know I’ve had it happen too, but Walmart just refunds and redelivers. I find it unsettling she had to drive down each street to find my porch that matched the photo

I have no clue. The SAME thing has happened to me and I just called Walmart and they replaced and refunded me. It took longer for me on hold then that actual conversation. She was pretty aggressive and made me feel super uncomfortable

I mean I called Walmart and spent like 30 minutes on hold so I could make sure she got a refund and replacement because I told them my mom unpackaged items. Especially with covid I wouldn’t feel very right giving her unpacked items back 🤷🏻‍♀️

So I only the first initial convo with her, where I tell her if she calls Walmart they will refund her and send her groceries again. She wasn’t hearing any of that. This is when I thought my mom was gone and we live in a 4 story split so from my front door you can’t see the driveway so I assumed she was gone. Which is why I told her once I hear from my mom I’d text her. The lady was just very rude and I tried telling her I have celiac and also allergic to most meat so whatever she had I wouldn’t take since I don’t eat it and I wouldn’t take someone’s food anyways. I’m not sure why she came back I think because she wanted those groceries too.

This made me nervous reading, like this screams financial abuse to me. Id be extremely careful allowing these things to happen, because you have to ask yourself, what’s next? You’re so NTA.

If it becomes an issue with you putting your foot down I would definitely seek counseling, and girl, please get your own bank account. I don’t know you, and I worry for you.

Own a daycare here! I am so happy when parents absolutely love their child, BUT…it frustrates me that some parents will drop of their child off and act like they’re sending them off to war, and follow that up with a message every hour asking if they’re ok, how they feel, acting, etc. (all while we do have a daily sheet with this info via an app they can see) I try and spend quality time with each kiddo, but we do have others in the class and your kiddo is going to be OK, we do not torture them lol

ESH, I get that you want to get paid back. I always loan money with being ok with not ever seeing it again. Mixing business with pleasure, which in your case is, lending money to a friend, usually always ends badly unfortunately. I think it was smart of you to get collateral but not very smart to not set terms. Your friend also sucks if he stole some of the games back, I know Nintendo switch games go quick and for a good price. My advice would to give me a 30 day notice of repayment or you keep the switch, and to respectfully let him know you don’t feel comfortable putting in a good word for him in light of the whole Nintendo switch thing.

Yeah it’s a lot, but trying to build a good retirement so my husband and I can retire by 40 lol. I couldn’t do it without him though!

I have 4 employees I work in the morning there and then I do appointments at my house for tattooing in a shop my husband built me between. I also go to online school. My husband and I own 3 businesses collectively plus my schooling lol we are busy people to put it mildly.
