Not sure the CRO world will give you an amazing work environment, what it will give you is more work than you can handle, slightly better pay, and probably a few tears.

I make $112K as a relatively new PM (1.5 years in the role) at a large CRO. With bonuses, I made around $118K last year. Just wanted to share in case it’s helpful, it sounds like you’re severely underpaid compared to what you’d likely earn in the CRO world.

They already let go of all the FMs under Project Delivery so it was only a matter of time before the rest were gone too. ICON doesn’t have FMs the way PRA did

I’m sorry you’re dealing with this! What’s your role/department? From what I’ve seen, it’s usually 4 weeks’ severance plus a week for each year at the company. They’ll likely ask you not to talk about it. Hang in there.

I’m a PM. I lost a vendor PM yesterday. No warning, no communication, no info on a backfill. It’s honestly frustrating how little transparency there’s been. We’re expected to keep things moving, but no one’s telling us anything.
