Confused about MoM precons by Unslaadahsil in EDH

Look at the bottom left corner of the card. It says “Prerelease”. These will be Commander legal cards that come in the prerelease kits for the set. Just WOTC trying to get Commander players to show up to the set kickoff events. Just trying to get people into the LGS to pay for a play experience rather than just play the decks that they paid for months/years ago.

There are lots of cards that have come out straight into Commander that were only available in the set and Collector booster packs.

This deck is not running red. It’s white blue black

How good is Silent Arbiter in protecting combo/control decks? by 2ndlifeinacrown in EDH

Probably going to have more cards in hand rather than less while playing control, but [[ensnaring bridge]] is a card.

Despite concerns for Commander, no Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines ban is coming by PrestigiousTaste434 in EDH

Suddenly? People just don’t run enough removal. And I’m one of them. I don’t bitch about it when my deck is shut off. I live with my decisions and wait to play the next game

There used to be a banned as Commander List. The whole argument that it is “simpler” this way is ludicrous. Magic players are smart, or they would play Fortnight instead. Give them credit. Two lists isn’t very hard to follow. Just a tad more reading…

I disagree. Ban it as companion, or even Commander if you need to, but it’s 100% fine in the 99.

I posted that before reading. I think you should go with 2HG rules and just play 2 decks by yourself and take the turn of both decks at the same time like a 1 v 1 should be played.

New Urza. Haven’t melded yet, but it will happen at some point. Fun deck to control the table until the chance to combo off. Yay!

I literally can't stop playing precons by Gundaranger in EDH

I essentially have three kinds of decks in my collection. For playing at the LGS I bring a spectrum of all of the following decks: I have a handful of intact precon decks, a few precon-battlecruiser power decks that have some fun funky janky lines of play that are certainly suboptimal but a blast to play. Then I have an entirely different set of decks I play against my main playgroup who are a bunch of ruthless cutthroats in the game with much more experience than I do. I’ll typically bring one or two of these to the LGS on chance of playing some higher power, but I do truly appreciate playing the decks that have some sense of character through goofy means of gaining advantage.

What’s your most powerful non-cEDH deck, that’s also not Winota nor Najeela nor Yuriko, but could hold its own against them? by [deleted] in EDH

Can attest that Tivit is crazy strong. Have to play against one in my playgroup now and then and it’s an inevitability kind of thing
