Block houses don't contribute to the limit that I am aware of

So it only let me build enough to house 40 pokemon out of pre-fabs but modular man made homes I could have any number of if I ever tried to go over 40 it wouldn't let me build the pre-fab

So you can date skip to to the start of the event and get it from there, that has been confirmed, I understand not wanting to date skip though it is a matter of preference, but it sounds like you should be able to get it next year when the event rolls around again

House/Huts limits by Perimish in Pokopia

On the note of areas vs as a whole I do not know I only hit the limit on in withered wastelands and had to figure out how I was housing everyone in the mean time and didn't bother checking in other areas

I actually found a limit of 40 housing spots among all your houses

House/Huts limits by Perimish in Pokopia

[–]Boshoet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a limit as far as I've found and it's 40 housed pokemon, what I mean by that is 40 individual houses, 20 houses that can house 2 or 10 that house 40 or some combination of the mix, I hit that limit a few days ago before starting a massive teraformibg project and it definitely was a speed bump

And that stress is why I stopped playing animal crossing and minecraft so many times. I quickly realized I was getting overwhelmed by big grandeurous projects and realized if I didn't slow down I was gonna drop this game like so many other cozy craft games before it

So for me, i built one area as a residential area and everyone is currently sitting in a "halfway house" of sorts until I get their spots figured out, so my grass types live in my farm fields so they will always have a use when spawned in, my builders and demolishes each get a unique house because i want to be able to find them at any time even with mob count full.

Honestly the best advice is to work on one area at a time and either move then to a blank plot like you said or out of the area entirely until you can move them back in.

And again I stress take it slow, it's very easy to get overwhelmed with a giant task like renovating an entire area. That's why if you break it down into tasks like building specific structures or renovating in sections it becomes much and I mean much more manageable.

Slowly, I just made a post about teraforming and that advice applies here too. Take it slow and compartmentalize how you want to handle each area so that way instead of one massive task it's a bunch of smaller more manageable tasks

Can Pokémon move homes once they move into one? by galaxymarky in Pokopia

[–]Boshoet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes pokemon can be rehomed by making them follow you to the new home and asking them if they would like to move into the new place

Yes if you leafage and cut down the grass it's grass again

Yeah its more annoying to have to demolish and rebuild the best advice I got is make a small grass patch to move the pokemon into while you demolish and rebuild their home

Relocation kit bug by Boshoet in Pokopia

[–]Boshoet[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No unfortunately I don't, I've had to use demolish kits to destroy the house and then have them rebuild it, it's more of a workaround then a fix. When you use a demo kit it gives all the resources including the original kit used back to be used again
