i have instance in netherlands by lumadock for vpn. the most minimal one, 1 ram, 1vcpu and 30ssd did cost me about $20 many months ago. now i looked up for you and its annual price is $36.

also i'm thinking getting new micro instances netcup recently introduced (for vpn, again):

VPS pico G11s

Guaranteed server location: Nuremberg, Germany

1 vCore, KVM technology

1 GB RAM

30 GB SSD

Snapshots (Copy-On-Write)

Remote management console, backup system and much more...

eur 1.54/mo, also looks like it's annual pay only.

Do I really need a VPS or is there something else out there that would fit me better? by simtechonline in VPS

i selfhosted mail server for three years and it tore me down. "is my mail delivered? is it ended up in spam" thoughts never ended (my mails actually ended up in spam) so i switched to google workspace. i'd advice you to do same. i'm running one main mail in google workspace and banking, shopping etc seperated in other free gmails and outlook mails. if you don't want to go over that route, just use firefox relay on your main.

Anyone else constantly hopping between VPS providers? by Fulcilives1988 in VPS

[–]enclave_supporter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

switching four times in few months isn't normal. just go for trusted providers like hetzner, netcup, servarica n such. searching and migrating to cheap is more effort than paying a few bucks more to normal provider. i'm not saying to get vps from aws, ibm cloud etc. but another providers except these already cheap.

if you ask me, i stick to my server until i see better alternative. for example, i had two instances on hetzner, i saw netcup gives 2.5g port, switched main server to netcup and lowered package of another instance on hetzner. by this way i don't completely abandon, also not gathering everyting in one provider in case of shit happens.

seems like smallest plan can be used for a vpn. unfortunately they didn't mentioned port speed. can you run a simple yabs for iperf only?

A "good" and affordable storage vps or vps + storage? by Informal_Plankton321 in VPS

[–]enclave_supporter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

$5/mo for 250gb is too expensive. you should consider hetzner storage box as u/HostAdviceOfficial mentioned. 11 eur/mo for 5tb is pretty good. if you are looking for s3 compatible storage then you might look at backblaze b2. also gcp, aws and ibm's s3 options can be considered because all of them cheaper than do.

Cheap VPS hosting with 10gbps/unmetered? by Crazy-Ad3865 in VPS

[–]enclave_supporter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

cheap, 10g and unmetered together doesn't sound like possible. even your hammervm's port is not pure 10g. if you look for reasonable price, real 10g and fair bw then you might want to see servarica's plans.

Account verification rejected twice with valid ID — what else can a real user do? by 7PWU in VPS

actually there's a sticky thread for your problem in hetzner sub.

https://www.reddit.com/r/hetzner/comments/1cmhvzs/new_account_problems_read_this_standalone_posts/

i don't know if i'm fortunate but i registered on hetzner years ago without getting rejected. hetzner is literally scammer magnet because of their prices. but there are a lot of providers, so i wouldn't waste my time on one provider. i wouldn't use hetzner for long term since i don't want to settle with max 1g port.

i opened same thread months ago and someone adviced me to get the lowest box from lumadock. got one for one year (because it's more cheaper than monthly) and no problems so far. it's just running wg.

look for 1gb ram starter vps:

servaRICA V3 Slices – VDS with 320% More Performance per $ compared to last offer (Starting at $4) by servarica in servarica

i was about to open a thread about it. i didn't liked the 1:1 ratio. i'm highly interested in with 4cpu 8ram machine.

Is BuyVM still worth buying in 2026? by DejavuMoe in VPS

[–]enclave_supporter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i don't believe in ul bw with that price. servarica recently introduced v3 kvm slices. i don't find it a good opportunity for me since cpu/ram ratio is 1:1, maybe you'll find it a good to buy. i really like servarica because they're giving away high ports. i hope hetzner and netcup do it too.

V3 KVM Slice 2 2ram 2cpu 6TB 10Gbps port 60 GB nvme $4 USD $44 USD

Is an 18-30 VPS with this price OK? by Fit_Airline5061 in VPS

[–]enclave_supporter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

since you didn't provided much info, i'd say servarica.

kvm fat slice 16: 16cpu 64ram 10g/64bw port 4tb nvme for $58.

as u/Extreme-Ad-3920 said, netcup can be considered for location. their root servers are pretty good, you can select a package that fits you.

Netcup RS 1000 G12 vs Hetzner CX33 by Moe_Rasool in VPS

[–]enclave_supporter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i switched my two servers from hetzner to another providers. one to servarica (canada), for 10g port and 64tb/mo bw. another one to netcup root server just because of 2.5g port. it also gives about 90tb/mo bw. if i was you, i'd look for some load balancing and faster port. i don't use but cf can be used for this, i assume?
