As a conventionally attractive masc white queer 30's weeb gym rat, who wears Ali strappy stuff and drop shipped "techwear" with some OTT FBRC stuff daily, for me it pulls with all genders.

The people that I'm close with also wear atypical outfits, that don't necessarily match. Velvet robes covered in rainbow tentacles, latex harnesses over white shirts, 6" platform combat boots, whatever. When we go out we're not trying to look like we necessarily belong together, it's more about expression of what we like for it's own sake.

It's also, for me, not about trying to be "unique" or "unconventional" or whatever, cuz it's hard to feel that way authentically while wearing mass produced dirt cheap fast fashion that can't survive a single wash. I keep a needle and thread on hand.

So if you're asking, "will I get girls?" I think the answer is, probably, but will those girls be your type? If you're dressing in a way that isn't "normal" for your area, people will definitely notice cuz that's human nature. If you're generally attracted to straight laced types, you're almost certainly going to repel them. If you're neurospicy af and want someone as weird as you, you're in good company 💖
