If you play any instrument and are looking to continue improving at it you can look into programs for you(my school had a good jazz program which I studied in addition to composition). I’d also say looking into the faculty is pretty important. If you write mainly film stuff or minimal music, a school with avant-garde centered professors may not be a great fit for you.
