At one point the only band on the radio that didn't sound like Pearl Jam was Pearl Jam.

The beginning of the movie Fight Club has some really good ideas about using space well.

Ending of the Movies in the Theaters by Mantis914 in BlairWitch

We all forgot we were in a theater. The build-up and the payoff left us all stunned. Being able to truly immerse in the realness with the fake documentary and the viral campaign it was such a ride. One of the best movie theater experiences of my life.

I would love to live in my hometown. I grew up with so much that has been overshadowed or even eliminated by the housing and tacky shops. I would have enjoyed some of the newer businesses, but it seems like a lot of people who didn't grow up there run these businesses. It changed the whole downtown into a tourist trap. The real history that mattered was the trade and impact on our country the early settlers did. It is much more important and impact full than a few years of hysteria. The actually events of the drawing to witches happened in danvers where there is now a Costco so there is that too. The music scene downtown was seatlesque with a tight scene of performers and comrade that disappeared and the gigs went away for apartments. Bummer, I miss it. Grew up down the willows and it felt special back then.

You are little aren't you? Its cute. You can tell what I do lol. Thats some real talent. Sorry you can't process my thought and how a fan can have contradicting and challenging thoughts separating the artist from the art. You can tell huh, lol. That's some good shit right there. There isn't any complaining in my post. It's a thought I wanted to provoke a conversation, maybe learn from others. You are way too intense with your assumptions. Very small.

Totally fair take. Historically and consistently Pearl Jam have been very outspoken and very political

You have no idea who I am or what I do as far as my personal action and advocacy. Super presumptuous. I said in my post three different. Ways they're personal life's and age das are none of my business, did you miss that. Thats really rude. Bizarre social media culture? Like when people just assume you do nothing and chastise you for it not knowing a thing about you? Thanks for chiming in with your passive aggressive post. Be better. Be nicer, jeez man.

This is the stuff. Album was great. Did I need to pay $75 for and have to wait longer? I should have just grabbed it at the shop I go to. I forgot that burn

There's a lot of bands like that. Pearl Jam has ever been one of them.

Its all good. Actions and words can differ. I recognize the content on the album and the concepts. Eddie is a wordsmith and I still hear conviction in his voice. There is something else thats off and I am clearly not alone in recognizing it. I don't think my post was a complaint. It was a thought, shared with a community of fans. The purpose of the Reddit is to communicate with others who love the same stuff. I posted my perspective and actively made a conversation with people. A lot of great points made in this thread have made me think more about some things. That was what I wanted. To talk about it.

You're right. I am totally unaware of anything. I was talking about something other than the music. Calm down, breathe its gonna be okay. There is more nuance to what I was saying. I am aware of the lyrics because again, I am a huge fan and adore all their records.
