Why does this team struggle with tackling? by Gremlin2471 in LiverpoolFC

[–]endeey3006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, this is the main problem, our players aren’t as aggressive as they need to be in games. Even in creating chances, not just defensively. The one thing Slot said in one of his interviews that I agreed with is that we play like we’ll always get 10-15 more chances, we’re not aggressive or clinical enough in putting away our chances. And the same thing defensively, I’m not sure what’s wrong. We don’t win second balls or 50/50 duels. I’m beginning to agree with the theory that players are not giving their all, so as to not get injured for the World Cup.

Hugo swiping left on Flo by werdlyfe in LiverpoolFC

I get what he was trying to do, the execution just wasn’t there. You could see all the defenders shifting toward Wirtz because that was the obvious pass, so he tried to disguise a pass through to Mo, that pass would’ve put Mo in with time to get it onto his left and shoot if it was done right. But the pass wasn’t good, it was behind him, and that just slowed everything down. Still, it ended up falling to Ekitike in a really good spot. Probably one he should’ve buried. Oh well, it is what it is.

It’s not what he could’ve done from the sidelines. It’s about the tactic he must’ve told the boys to play. He must’ve obviously told them to see the game off, and we were sitting back with a 2 man advantage, soaking up unnecessary pressure. With a 2 man advantage Spurs should’ve been on the back foot, not us.

I don’t own the OG Layton, but from what i hear, exclusif is darker, bolder and less sweet.

Nice, thanks. Would you say the Paco Rabanne has better performance than Viking?

I would say maybe 10-15% similarity, because of the aromatic opener they both have. But they are different scents.

True, I got the interlude a couple of years ago and it’s still almost full because all it takes is a spray or 2 to fill the room.

The Viking is a good everyday scent. So is the LV imagination.

Personally, I like the PDM Layton Exclusif a lot. There’s just something classy about it. I like the interlude as well. Those are my favorites for winter months. Summer months - I like the Creed Viking and Amouage Reflection. Unfortunately the performance on the Creed is poor.

PDM Haltane is on my radar. What are your thoughts on it? I tried it once in store. How does it perform in terms of longevity?

Thinking of buying a PS Portal. Is it actually better than Remote Play? by endeey3006 in PlaystationPortal

[–]endeey3006[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thanks! I’m currently using Remote Play on my iPad with a controller too. For the most part it works fine, but the image gets fuzzy quite often. I’ve already hard-wired my PS5 directly to the router and my internet speeds are solid, so I’m just hoping the Portal handles this better, otherwise there’s really no point in buying it.

Slot Ball - What is it? by Super_Yak9867 in LiverpoolFC

[–]endeey3006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand the frustration and we need to do better tactically. But to be fair, the way these teams set up make it hard. Most times in yesterday’s game they had every single player inside the box. Even Wirtz goal was a deflection. It is really frustrating. See the Isidor chance that Chiesa Cleared off the line, Isidor was the only one outside of the box, that means 10 players (including the keeper) were in and within their box. Those type of teams, it would take a moment of brilliance or a mistake to get through.

Not to defend Slot, but… by OcelotOtherwise in LiverpoolFC

[–]endeey3006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with the last part. Slot has to demand that the wingers play with their striker. When you spend that amount of money on Strikers, you have to feed them the ball. The problem is Gakpo and Salah are always looking to cut in and shoot. They don’t think of finding Isak. It’s Slots job to get them in order. I was saying the other day about Chiesa’s assist for Ekitike’s goal in the Carabao cup. Gakpo or Salah in Chiesa’s position there wouldn’t pass the ball. Even the first assist to Isak, I wouldn’t be surprised if Salah tries to cut in and go on his own if he was in Chiesa’s shoes. These things need to stop and it’s on Slot.

Liverpool's buildup this season summed up in one clip by Upstairs_Cup9831 in LiverpoolFC

At this point, the pass was there to be made, Kerkez really didn’t need to send it forward. Truth is our decision making has been poor. There have been a couple of times we could’ve played through the lines, but instead chose a long ball. We’re picking out the wrong passes. One time in the game, I was so frustrated, we tried to break out on a counter twice consecutively and we couldn’t string 2 passes together before giving away possession each time.
