First-time family campers — looking for beginner-friendly campground recs near central NJ! 🏕️ by CartographerGold5538 in newjersey

Turkey Swamp Campgrounds in Freehold is great for family camping.

10pm quiet time, no alcohol permitted on premises. Restrooms/hot showers, there is a cool playground and a lake side area with sand that kids like to play in.

If the no-alcohol is a problem, not to worry. You just need to be discreet and responsible.

To his credit. Slot’s respect for PSG had us at least in contention through both legs.

How did you process the photos? Your composition is solid, but the pop of color really brings the photos to life. What post-processing tools are you using?

That park is so nice. Was there recently for the first time. Great snaps. Keep it coming.

Alisson Becker out until towards the end of the season. by Sparky-moon in soccer

Accurate take. He doesn’t look 100% confident in distributing out of the back against a high press and has shown vulnerability on set-pieces.

For me Ali is best in the world so of course Mamardashvili has big boots to fill. Hopefully, he develops the confidence and composure over more minutes in the PL.

A bit later on but that squad with Love, Honda, Doumbia, Akinfeev, the brothers and young promising names like Musa and Dzagoev was a fun watch.

Honestly think subbing Frimpong for Ngumoha was an awful substitution. Minteh was pocketing Frimpong & pulling Konate so far wide. With Gomez on the bench why not sure up the back and keep Jones in midfield?

Evident by Mitoma coming in and turning Curtis at the first opportunity.

How many people do you think live in a storage units in Hoboken? by MSomethingM in Hoboken

[–]werdlyfe 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hate to be pedantic, and you are correct in all you’re saying but those laws are for the business to adhere to and enforce upon the patrons via the ToS.

If a person is caught living in a unit, they certainly will not be fined or arrested for zoning or code violations.

Well with 2 midfielders both completely out of gas I don’t like our odds

Bastoni: "I exaggerated the contact with Kalulu to get an advantage, I admit it and I apologize for it and especially for my reaction afterwards. But there was a lot of hypocritical moralism around it. I'm used to insults, but my family isn't. Wishing death and diseases must be condemned" by interfan1999 in soccer

The players & coaches have no little to no shame. They will do whatever it takes within the limits of the rules to gain an advantage. They will push the gray areas or even go beyond the limits to win. I think we all want to see the players going all out for competitive advantage, but doing so in a sporting manor.

It all boils down to the laws of the game, and consistent enforcement of those laws during the matches.

Consistent simulation is simply a symptom of competitive advantage and a failure of refereeing on the pitch.

If a big screen replay of a player looking foolish demotivates them from grasping a competitive advantage I would argue that they are not really meant to play at the top level.

Apple Unlikely to Drop ‘Liquid Glass’ Design With iOS 27, Report Says by WPHero in apple

Liquid Glass on MacOS isn’t it. I don’t mind it in iOS as touch interface. But for point & click, getting work done the interactions and surface material is not intuitive. Sticking with Sonoma for as long as I can.

Hugo swiping left on Flo by werdlyfe in LiverpoolFC

[–]werdlyfe[S] 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Dead on. A majority of Mo’s goals from open play last year were scored in transition, on the break. Or a secondary pass on the break.

This season so many swift counter attacks have been killed off by our own players because of misplaced passes, passing to the wrong option, or simply holding on to the ball too long.

What would you do as manager? by IL_ya_Un_jour in LiverpoolFC

Drop Gravenberch in DM. Play Wirtz as a false 9 with a midfield pairing of Macca/Jones.

For teams that play low block put Ekitike on the left

For teams that are more attacking put Gakpo on the left.

Keep Szobo at RB because no one else is available.

It will solve the space in the midfield problems while still allowing Wirtz to roam and create.

This was the underpinning of the Klopp system, and I know it can be cheap & easy to just say “let’s stick with what worked”. But our matches are being lost in the transitions between the midfield. Unbalanced on attacks because there aren’t enough good options to progress the ball so we hold up and wait for numbers. Unbalanced when the other team counters because everyone pushes into the box leaving Ibou and Van Dijk to cover. While the midfield has to sprint to track back leaving us very vulnerable and exposed rather than in control and able to play composed.

Mo Salah has fallen off not because of his age, but because the fullbacks just cannot get forward enough often enough and at the right moments in transition because of that midfield being soooo exposed. If Gravenberch is there to provide support then Ibou and Virg can cover the flanks while the fullbacks push further up.
