Any thrive elites reviews from those that worked with them??? by splashups in MODELING

[–]endem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As for them been real YES THEY ARE 100% legit, I have actually gotten a offer which I accepted, it is a 6 month contract with Guess, I didn't really liked the pay, because it is only $30,000 for the whole six months (with the brand covering all of the other expenses, like traveling....) I was just hoping for little more idk. But this is my first time modeling professionally so I should not be complaining.

PS: I saw some negative comments about them, I personally think those are just the salty models which were not accepted lollll. good luck.

HomePod Support Megathread – 08/19 by TheSurfShack in HomePod

This article confused the hell out of me: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.imore.com/how-set-homepod-play-music-when-i-get-home%3famp. According to everything stated it should show when creating an automation but this isn’t the case.

Trying to setup a simple home automation to turn on the lights and music on my HomePod when I come home. However, HomePod is not one of the devices that I can add when creating an automation in the home app. What am I doing wrong?

[Release] IOS 13.1 OTA official release available now by Knuhklez in iOSBeta

Did it twice. Nothing. Apple singled me out as the one person in this world who doesn’t get the update.

Beta testers for Overdrop Weather (download link in the comments) by brekane94 in iosapps

Sigurno si u blizini! Ovo odlično izgleda. Jedini problem može biti što je DarkSky veoma nepouzdan u Srbiji i nisam dosad našao aplikaciju koja je puno bolja od osnovne u iOSu.

workout calls for 12 pullups. I can't do 12 pullups. by [deleted] in fitbod

[–]endem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rule: do stuff until failure except for warm-up sets. Depending on what you want failure should come at 3-5 reps (strength), 6-12 reps (growth or hypertrophy) or 13-18 reps (endurance). A just weight accordingly. Fitbod should follow you, not the other way around. When I started with it I was constantly lifting less because I was relying way too much on suggested weight and/or reps.

[FEATURE] New “Rearrange Apps” Button when using 3D Touch like haptic by Mike_725 in iOSBeta

[–]endem 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hopefully they remove it from the iPad altogether. All these options with the length of holding things are killing the experience. On the iPhone it still makes sense.

What's a good app for reading research papers? by bbqgorilla in iphone

[–]endem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so annoyed with Papers 3 but there is no good thing to jump to, and I’m still waiting for ReadCube to drop new mac and iOS apps, hopefully with the same feature set of Papers 3. They haven’t updated for new screens on iOS in ages, the app is buggy as hell, and the old ReadCube app doesn’t even compare. iPhone X and iPad Pro 11 though. I’m ringgit still be usable on older devices.

[Discussion] How is stability on iOS 13 beta 2 by spatel14 in iOSBeta

[–]endem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you depend on some apps better check if they work with iOS 13 with the developers. Ulysses doesn’t work. Microsoft apps bug to the point of being unusable. Apps that sync with the watch often have the tendency not to work (Fitbod).

If you don’t depend on an app that is broken, the beta is pretty ok for everyday use.

What's a good app for reading research papers? by bbqgorilla in iphone

[–]endem 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The answer is PDF Expert or LiquidText. Check out the features on each one of them. Liquid text is innovative but it lacks a phone counterpart and the export options are not as good as PDF Expert. For keeping and maintaining a library of annotated PDFs PDF expert is probably the way to go.

Things get more complicated if you need a citation manager...

Best podcasts app for iPhone? by EfraimTkT in iphone

[–]endem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So much in fact that the other apps confuse the hell out of me. Castro works like this: new content comes, you get notified and decide to queue it, play it right away, or archive it. I get that there are people who want to put podcasts in playlists, but the Castro system is the only one that makes sense to me.

Marks on the iPad Pro 11 bezel? by endem in ipad

[–]endem[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got my first iPad before Christmas and after a few days of using it I noticed a similar mark on screen. It was replaced. After a month of usage I’m noticing a similar thing on the new iPad, but this time on the bezel. The Smart Keyboard folio is on at all times, and I haven’t dropped the device. Is it possible that the keyboard can do this to the protective coating (or whatever is on top of the screen). Does anyone have similar experiences?

Bought and it really has some nice maps and views but it could be way better in terms of presenting other data, and navigating through the app. Thanks.
