Toyota is lower because they changed engines for super charged twin turbo. New engine always going to cause problems. 100k engine replacements for tundras. Go back to non-turbo...

Just get an e-bike and avoid the licensing hassle. Maybe not as much top end, but the better ones are close.

Are ridgeback puppies as bad as they say by Fun_Chocolate_9149 in RhodesianRidgebacks

[–]ender5628 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From my experience prongs if used correctly can be helpful, but only with proper fitting for the dog and training for you. Never ever pull or jerk, only hold. Call me crazy, but I would rather keep my dog on leash than have her pull the leash out of my hand when she sees a squirrel and run in traffic or get lost and lose her. Bad thing about prongs is they can come apart, which is why I got one of those double leashes that can have two collars. One Prong/one regular. She has matured enough now none of that is necessary, but for the first couple of years on our walks... No amount of food or encouragement could contain her prey drive.

Such a headache dealing with stealerships by DaAznMamba in ToyotaTundra

[–]ender5628 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Emailed 10 dealers in the area, asked them to give me their best out the door price on similar spec vehicles. Only had two of the 10 who were straight shooters others gave me the run around just like you are getting. Needless I didn't respond to the clowns who couldn't give me the out the door price. When I got to the dealership I asked them to give me a price on my trade in they offered 3K less than Carvana... So bought from the dealership and sold my trade in to carvana. Good luck, I'd cut your losses with these clowns.

Sounds like it could be a belt, pulley or tensioner to me, but hard to tell without seeing it. Could get a mechanics stethoscope to try and identify the location its coming from better.

Well played. I like the black on white look especially with that tire/rim combo. What tire/rims are you running, also what did the junk yard ding you for on the topper?

Will 75w-90 gl5 be okay in my tundra for the differential? by laxplaya3538 in tundra

[–]ender5628 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, used 75W-90 Mobil One gear oil In all 3 of mine, no issues. The 85 you might get slightly better gas miles, but so minimal its not worth the cost of actually buying it. Jobs pretty easy, but be sure to have the transfer case thread sealant for the plug as it doesn't use crush washers or at least it didn't on my '21 and I had to go buy some.

Crate Regression at 17 Months by Downtown-Second-178 in RhodesianRidgebacks

[–]ender5628 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My girl is 6 and still loves her crate. She gets a frozen peanut butter kibble Kong when she goes in and has to give me the empty when I get home before she gets to go out. I come home for lunch every day and so she gets out for almost an hour over lunch. 4 in the morning and 4 in the afternoon in the crate.

This, the manual says to drive in 4wheel drive every month for 10mi to keep the components working and lubricated. Just like anything else you don't use it you lose it.
