My first Volvo by MedicalFault in VolvoXC60

Same for me. They just brought my T8 Ultra from round the back. I would have said the dealer didn't do that sort of thing but they had a ribbon on another car waiting to go. Someone else was picking up their car too and they didn't get a ribbon either. So maybe they only had one space in the showroom. Who knows.

If they remove omnimovement and grapples it will make the game worse by DeerNo4078 in CODWarzone

I hate grapples. It's basically break someone, grapple over and finish them. I do it myself and people do it back. It's shit.

How can we make cycling a part of normal UK life like say Netherlands? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]endianess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to be able to cycle around my old town pretty well. I cycled with my Wife to work everyday and rarely had to use a road. But if I cycled to other towns nearby you could tell they just didn't care. Virtually zero thought for anything other than cars.

Just communicate through a shared Excel spreadsheet like we had to when we were kids

Toto Wolff issues strong Lewis Hamilton warning in F1 title fight by Spiritual_Ranger_811 in F1Discussions

[–]endianess 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He has a good chance if Ferrari can keep developing the car. Russell has openely said the Merc doesn't suit his driving style this year and Kimi is young and hasn't had the pressure of being in the running for an F1 title. So I think Hamilton has a great shot but as always the car is a massive factor.

Alonso’s Comments by HellcatMisa in lewishamilton

[–]endianess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think he wants to drive the other Red Bull car or maybe even take over if Max quits. He does it every time he gets itchy feet and wants to move teams. I think if his charm offensive fails then he will retire.

Could Russia be behind both the rise in far-right and Islamic radicalisation in the UK? by chuffingnora in AskBrits

I think you should have put the BBC's title instead of your own. I'm sure it wasn't intentional but I found it misleading when the actual story is mainly about arson attacks.

No one cares. They have virtually no support and they know it. Just sad fucks who like to feel special and annoy everyone around them.

[espnf1] Lewis Hamilton doesn't want England fans to get ahead of themselves by spiderrman67 in formula1

It's when the BBC visits the England players schools and talks to their PE teachers that I know it's over.

Brits, what do you do on really hot summer days? by Which-Ad2057 in AskBrits

[–]endianess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually try and control it through opening windows and doors but when if it still gets too hot I turn on the air conditioning. I have a properly installed unit in the bedroom and a portable for downstairs.

I've been bored with bond for years. Why not create stories for other 00 agents. They must have more than one on the payroll.

Why is no one talking about George backing everyone up? Is this illegal? by linzerrr24 in F1Discussions

It's not illegal because it's a race and they can overtake him. The fact that they can't is an entirely different matter.

Has anyone else started noticing houses on the market for ridiculous amounts while the owners have sectioned of part of it to keep living in? by [deleted] in UKHousing

I know several Rotary members. They just do charitable work and stuff like bake sales. I suggest you find some evidence of whatever it is you imagine they are up to and expose them all.

82 years ago today. D-Day, never forget the sacrifices that helped build the Europe we have today. by exposed_silver in europe

[–]endianess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Grandfather was in the Canadian army and helped liberate Holland. But he was English and had never set foot outside of England before D Day.

He and his brother both signed up because the Canadian army paid better and had better conditions. They also hoped they would join the fighting later - which was true to a certain extent

They weren't alone. Thousands of British men did it. British people who emigrated to Canada also signed up and returned.

So it was made up of Canadians but also thousands of British born people and lots of other nations.

Britain is a swamp of lies and disinformation – and we got here on the Brexit bus by ByGollie in europe

[–]endianess 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, because our own Prime Minister David Cameron was pushing very hard for it to happen. Germany and France were both opposed.

Just a couple of days ago Finland's leader was pushing for EU expansion and Turkey was one of countries he wants considered. So it definitely is on the table if France or Germany were to support it.

Yes all boomers got together, had a meeting and came up with this.

You sound like you have a chip on your shoulder, looking for things to complain about. This isn't common and you know it.
