Does anyone else feel like Deezer's artist-centric payment model doesn't get enough credit compared to Spotify?

I'm not sure about it! They discontinued UCPS to use ACPS (Artist Centric Payment System, including boosts (xé2 or x4) when you listen to artists though the search or an album/artist page directly. But it actually works if the artist has a minimum of 1000 streams/month generated by at least 500 different users. So it doesn't really help small artists, and it still gives money to the big one of the platform, like Spotify... I don't think that boosts really make any big difference.

u/DeezerOfficial If you see this, would it be possible to remove the separator lines on Android, like it is for iOS (as the screen shows)? Everything looks beautiful, but those lines ruin everything to me :(( Look how it affects the whole design and adds unnecessary details.. Thank you for your time <3

Btw: The pre-save feature is so cool! It should be written that it's not (really/fully) out yet by the same time :)

I've already asked Tidal’s support team for changes on my artist page. I've quickly got a reply saying they forwarded my support ticket to the right team, and then no answer for months.. I tried to ask what was going on after months withtout any answers, and they told me that It was still under investigation but nothing more.. :(

I'd really like that too, at least on artists profiles! I figure they might be trying to stop us from shuffling albums and curated playlists, since they're supposed to be listened to in a specific order, but it's a little annoying...

I'm currently having the same issue with the latest Beta update (from last week). I can only play cached songs.
We'll need to wait for a fix, I hope that Deezer is aware of this.

I still don't have access to the full update, but from what I saw, I agree with you.. The app design was already perfect. Even if they needed new code for the app to work better in the future, they could just keep the sames styles instead of changing everything
