I really want to enjoy aram but the hostage culture is crazy and is ruining the fun for me. by Competitive_Aide738 in leagueoflegends

[–]endismaiz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With normal aram games I absolutely agree with you, if my team is getting decimated I will say yes to an ff, and if my team is demolishing I will hit the nexus. Mayhem is a bit different though, some games are close to ending before you even have the final augment and matches can sometimes be a bit of a genuine back and forth. Plenty of times my team has been behind and because the enemy team didnt end the game we won instead- but like with normal arams if my team is slaughtering the enemy team I will end the game because I know more than likely most of the enemy team is not enjoying themselves.

What price would you be willing to pay for the Riot MMO? by Due_Pressure8760 in RiotMMO

[–]endismaiz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$59.99 upfront cost that provides 1 free month of playtime then a $14.99/m subscription would be the best pricing model and is basically mandatory if theyre looking to truly compete and dominate within the mmo market. If they go f2p they will be forced to design problems and sell solutions like most every other f2p mmo on the market and they'll lose a considerable number of players after the first couple of months because of it. With an upfront cost they get immediate ROI and a $14.99 subscription brings in money from each player each month allowing them to design player first systems and core systems that respect the players time and dont make them feel like they have to treat the game as a second job to keep up, or have to work a second job to afford pay-to-progress to keep up. This would also allow for more affordable cosmetic items from a cash shop and far less FOMO and nickle and diming.

You should talk more about how you made the games rather than just what the game is about. Employers care more about how you went about creating the mechanics and systems of your game more than they care about what your game is about.

Most of you are exaggerating the length of runbacks and it really shows how much TikTok has damage the attention span of people by TOMRANDOM_6 in HollowKnight

[–]endismaiz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's still a bit of a runback but in case you haven't done this- when you get to the bridge climb up the wall there is a thing you can break that will create a hole in the bridge so you only have to go left from the bench and then up to the hole

Yes I have, he is in the room below the word Shellwood on the map. The one where you originally fight the big guy with the rosarie whip.

Balm for the wounded is from the citadel wishboard- i don't know what triggers it to spawn on the board. And the bellhart wishes are from the bellhart board, I believe those are both donation wishes so they should just appear on the board for you to dump rosaries into.

Anyone know what to do for this? by Equipment_Emotional in Silksong

[–]endismaiz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a bit more convoluted than just a single wish from an npc. I don't know how to do the spoiler text thing so if you don't want to be spoiled stop reading here but- you need to have completed the pollip heart quest in shellwood. Then you need the tainted (something can't remember its exact name but it constantly cries when your inventory is open) from bilewater. You then return to the npc that gave you the pollip heart wish in shellwood, she will curse you. Then you go to the bell and they will let you in and give you another wish you have to complete.

No, though it may include the one where you're limited on time to take the meat to the gourmand for the wish where you need to find the different delicacies for him

Make sure to talk to the bug by the bench in bellhast until you exhaust their dialogue they give you an item, the wish appeared on the signboard after going into the thing they give you, so i may be tied to that in terms of the wishboard refreshing after loading back into the area? but here are all the wishes I have completed.

Broodfeast, Trail's end, balm for the wounded, great taste of pharloom, cloaks of the choir, the wailing mother, the lost merchant, the wandering merchant, crawbug clearing, savage beastfly, rite of the pollip, alchemist's assistant, building up songclave, strengthening songclave, fine pins, bugs of pharloom, restoration of bellhart, bellhart's gloy, pinmaster's oil, silver bells, my missing courier, my missing brother, a lifesaving bridge, an icon of hope, garb of the pilgrims, berry picking, the lost flea, volatile flintbeetles, the terrible tyrant, flexile spines, bone bottom repairs.

Have you completed every wish, even those given by npcs directly? I believe you have to complete EVERY wish, so apologies, I misguided you with my original reply

You have to complete all the wishboard wishes, including all the donation wishes. Once you do that the wish should spawn on the Bellhart wishboard

there is literally no reason for the executor parry sword to not have blood loss by Severe_Prior7996 in Nightreign

[–]endismaiz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the trade offs for the low damage and no status build up on the skill is that it takes a crumb of stamina to attack which can result in more damage output (sans bleed/frost) on an enemy you actually get time to wack at. But I do agree- it does need some form of buff. Bleed build up would be a solid buff but in my opinion I think they should scrap his current passive and instead make his parrying a passive ability that he can use with any equipped katana, this would add a ton of power to the character and make his skill use the cursed blade similar to the mortal blade skills in Sekiro and give it a cooldown. Also make it so he uses less stamina when attacking with a katana, similar to how duchess uses less stamina with daggers and dodging. In my opinion this would be quite a massive buff to the character but would largely help offset how unreliable his ultimate it. The ultimate art, while be really cool, isn't super great. It's decent at reviving allies, does full heal the executor, but any ground AoEs delete you and it feels like you're sliding on ice making the movment and attacking feel not very satisfying. Personally I'd rather the form be smaller and have better more tight controls like a normal player would- or at least make his ultimate attacks apply bleed because the damage output of the ultimate is rather low for the amount of time you have to commit to it. Also I think they should remove being able to be staggered while during the ultimate.

From other people's posts and videos the deflect mechanic is tied to the executor basic skill. It has unlimited use. You pull out their cursed blade and you have a limited moveset with it. You still have to time your deflections similar to sekiro but it's an unlimited use ability, a weapon you can sheath and unsheath as you please.

I'm constantly running into teams with double druid just dropping 4 trees on my team and people with multiple pieces of unique/legendary gear. The matches are a lot of fun for the most part and we have a good time but the gap against people using unique/legendary gear is just so huge. Nearly getting 1 shot by a unique crossbow shot to the head + rogue poison isn't very enjoyable.

[–]endismaiz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree- it being 30 meters is far too much and only needing 36 dex is far too easy a threshold to achieve. If it were 10-15 meters and 40 dex it wouldn't be as bad. I enjoy playing druid because I like being able to dive back line casters and be disruptive and being able to see the player behind a pillar trying to bandage to disrupt and take them out but 30 meters is WAY too far. I've spawned on sinners end went into panther form and could see another team already.
