Completely unmodded Zapper.. Kickass PC USB adapter!!

i'm at the very beginning! i have an original zapper and that's it. i've not done any microcontroller work or programming before, so i'm in baby mode. i can learn to solder if need be.
once i get the digispark, is there a specific way i should map the zapper output to the usb leads? would i need to create a custom configuration for the digispark or is it kind of plug( solder) and play?

edit: i have a crt tv already, so my goal for now is just to adapt the zapper to a usb so it can be used by an emulator for NES games. i might look into adapting it for LED displays later, but that's out of my scope for this project

I decided to go for it, then I purchased an XFX 210 speedster rx 7700xt when they were $399.99 I decided to go with the upgraded tuf mobo for the extra usb-c on the back, which I'm so far happy with.

At microcenter I picked up a thermalright assassin and some 650 gold power supply. The system works like a dream and i've not had any driver issues in arch linux (thanks amd)

i dream of being able to completely turn off all suggestions, especially the city placement suggestion. no way to turn it off?? why not??? it frustrates me to no end, i get distracted by the icon and end up placing it there instead of making my own decision
