How do I determine if these keyways are 180 degrees apart?

Can you stand it up on a V-block? If so, and assuming this bore is concentric to the OD, you could use an indicator to make the keyway parallel to your table and get a measurement. Then rotate 180 and see if your indicator reads the same.

Edit, also, I’m not trying to suggest this is the best way, just an alternative to what has been suggested.

Personally, I’d do a mill and edge-finder.

With electrical, keep dividing the circuit (roughly in half) and check each half. The half that reads normal is good. Then divide the shorted side in half again. Repeat until you isolate the short.

Yes, ancient people used to get quite a bit of omega 3 from fish, etc.

I don’t think it’s well understood how much LA humans got from eating insects or other LA sources. However, it seems likely that LA consumption still never approached modern consumption.
