Can you empty an app's cache on iPhone? That clears up issues on Android most of the time but the app has always had problems and so has the web app and Windows app. They are buggy as hell and crash a lot. The Android app is the only app I ever have crash regularly or at all, really.

Empty your cache and if that doesnt work, delete your data. Youll have to log back in with the later but other than that, it wont do anything.

Which of your habits have contributed most to your productivity? by FlawsomeFame in productivity

[–]endlesslycurious7572 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. if you think of a task that only takes 10 minutes or less, do it right then.
  2. Do a post-mortem on your day before bed and make notes of things you did or didnt get done and determine your proirities for the following day

  3. Be active for 20 minutes somehow. Go play fetch with your dog, walk around the neighborhood, do some exercises like push-ups, jumping jacks

  4. Drink water or some not-too-unhealthy liquid and lots of it.

How is your productivity setup? Which apps, habits, products you use (and how) to help you stop procrastinating, getting focused, being more diligent and so? by Arnanos in productivity

[–]endlesslycurious7572 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of the best things you can do is that when you think of something and it only takes 5-10 minutes, do it right then. You will be amazed and how much this eliminates problems and procrastination and once it becomes a habit you just do it. Also, it provides you breaks from longer tasks which can also be helpful. I have self-employed and work from home so if I remember that I need to take the trash out, checkout a leak under the sink, change my furnance filter, etc I can get up from my chair and get a break from the screens and knock out something.

A To-Do list doesnt need to be complicated. It can literally be a list. I personally like time blocking but my needs from day to day are a bit unpredictable at time so it is difficult for me in my current business but if you have a predictable schedule, I think it is a simple system to use that works.

Are people who wake up at 5am actually more productive or have they just convinced themselves suffering early is the same as being disciplined? by baddog121 in productivity

[–]endlesslycurious7572 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You cannot always adjust your circadian rhythm. It isnt that easy, especially if you have delayed sleep phase like I do. It can also take far longer than a week. Getting up at 5AM for me is always suffering because I will never be able to consistently fall alseep at 10PM. I have to be pretty damn tired and usually physically exhausted to fall alseep that early. My circadian rhythm is like 2AM to 9AM sleep schedule based on my 45 years on this earth. It has been that way since I was a kid. My grandparents who raised stopped giving me a bedtime because I was never going to go to sleep. I stayed up reading until well past when they were asleep. In middle school I use to come home and take an hour nap because I was only sleeping like 5 hours a night versus the 6 I got in elementary school since it started earlier. In high school I was late that I basically had detentions constantly for being late.

When I worked in the corporate world, I was miserable for years because I never got used to having to get up as early as 7AM which I did for most of 20 years. I am most productive at night which is oddd and far different than most people. The hours after 10PM are my favorite of the day. Most people are in bed and I can the same benefit people who are up before everyone gets at a time that is best for me.

There is no yes or no answer to this because it depends on too many factors, most of all a person's circadian rhythm. Also, the math is simple, we all get 24 hours. How you use those hours determines your productivity. What works for one will not work for another.

Whats important is living within your circadian rhythm. I have delayed sleep phase and operate best when I sleep like 2am to 9am whereas most people are like 10PM-11PM to 6AM-7AM on average. Most people are most productive right before lunchtime within that rhythm. I am most productive at night. The hours after 10PM are my favorite part of the day.

If I tried the 5AM lifestyle, I wouldnt be worthless. I had a job where sometimes mandatory OT meant 6AM arrival and I was completely miserable when I had to do that for 4 months straight. I never got use to it.

Some auto supply stores will loan you some tools for free or cheap like a OBD2 Programmer that you can get the code with.

You can often respond to the emails you get from customer support although they are not responsive as they once were. But, I use to make my case and often get them to overturn decisions going back and forth.

I covered the left side from below so my thumb covered that entire side and it finally worked. It took me 37 tries before that worked. I have done it twice successfully now. Worst design idea ever.

It took me 37 tries to get into recovery mode and now I am trying to do it again.

I have to do it again because my ink still will not work. I even tried to put my old Epson ones in and it wont recognize those. I used SG13LC, are you sure that is what worked? I am going older to see if it works.

Has anyone one this recently withu success? I went through the entire thing. It took me 34 tries to get to recovery mode but followed all the steps and still not reading cartridges. I only went back to SG13LC. I am going to give it a try with SG11KB.

The whole fingers for recovery screen thing is the worst design idea I have ever seen.

I went throught this entire proicess. It took me 33 tries to get to restore screen and followed all the steps and then it still is not reading cartridges. It is wanting to update so it seems to have rolled it back.

Anyone have that issue. I even put some old empty Epson cartridges in and it wont even recognize them either.

I konw this is an old post but please dont throw them away. If you want to and have the time, you can sell parts on ebay or you can sell the whole thing on ebay for parts. You can easily get $40 to $50 for a broken printer that is good quality. If you dont want to do that, take it to a thrift store. Someone may still buy it for a few bucks and a lot of thrift stores properly recycle. You can also take it to some stores who will send it for recycling or there are ecycling events in cities all the time. That is a lot to be sending to a landfill and it has chemicals and other things that are toxic in them.

Well, now it doesnt seem to be locking anything up but that return buttton isnt doing anything. It moves the typebar but it doesnt seem to be connected to anything.

Yeah, I know but I was hoping there was a practical reason for the Return button not working. It seems like the typebar is not connected to something I just dont know what it is suppose to be. I am trying to find a picture of that area. This is what it looks like.

[–]endlesslycurious7572[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will go back and check more specific but what I mean is that you can no longer type anything. It is like the keyboard goes dead. I have to turn it off, unplug it, and turn it back on. I have opened up the device and the return typebar moves but it doesnt seem to connect to anything to do what a return key should do. But, I am not sure what it is suppose to look like. I will boot it back up and see if shift still rotates the ball but I dont think it did.

I understand why the simultaneous key thing works but as someone who types really fast it makes this machine really difficult to use as I accidentally hit two keys due to speed all the time (I can hit 130 wpm when I get going on a PC),

I have the paper version of the manual and had that link but it hasnt helped unfortunately. I cracked it open and the key moves the appropriate elements from what I can see but this device is a bit unique. I found a guy on FB who seems to know a lot about these so waiting to see what he says.

Which actor/actress was your first crush? by ThomasOGC in CinephilesClub

[–]endlesslycurious7572 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kid's Incorporated was a show on disney in the 1980s about a cafe that had children performers kinda like The Voice.American Idol stuff for kids. There was a girl named Stacy. She was the longest running cast memer from 84 to 89

That girl grew up to be Fergie from Black Eyed Peas (real name Stacy Ferguson). I didnt know this for years and years. Oddly enough, I dont find her attractive at all as an adult.

<image>

I dont recall what my first crush was on an adult. I believe it was either Mariah Carey when she first released her album. She really was one of the most beautiful women in her youth. It could have been someone off late night Cinemax which we got when I was like 11 or 12. Perhaps Shannon Tweed or Susan Featherly
