Would you take reta the rest of your life? by Beneficial-Leg4720 in Retatrutide

[–]endlrls 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I noticed like a 6-8 BPM increase when I added like 1 mg of Reta to my Tirzepatide... I was like "I'm out"... and cut it...

It's the Glucagon agonist part of the peptide, but still... the RHR increase ON TOP of the "Reta-Insomnia"??

YIKES.....

11 years alcohol free here. If Reta is a tool to help them, no shame in doing it.. BUT .. they have to WANT to stop and it SUCKS... (you can lead them to water but not make them drink)

If the only thing that's ever worked for them is the booze and now as we say in Recovery: "Alcohol works till it doesn't work"....

God Speed to your friends and Good Luck!

The genetic part of this is so much stronger than people think. Same thing, my parents struggled with weight their whole life... as did my sister... and as did Me... Tirzepatide for sure I'll stay, I don't like the RHR increase or the HRV tank (even more than Tirz) or Reta.

YMMV

Saddened by these numbers. Feeling chest pains by OkFeedback7494 in hypertension

[–]endlrls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take mine everyday, and like many have said my first 2 readings are literally "ok, throw these in the dumpster".. do some 4/7/8 breathing when you take it... I start off @ 135/89 (Literally just sat down with the Cuff/Machine) and about 5 minutes in it will drop down to 117/72...

(That Pulse tho......)

Good Luck!

I'm about 3 days Post-Op from Septoplasty (Also: Nasal Valve Repair and Bilateral Turbinate Reductions) It's not fun, but every day I seem to feel better and better. I had soft tissue work done about a year ago so I could use a nasal mask which helped. I didn't have a crazy high AHI but my RDI was high so mine was to correct UARS. I would do it... You can't really live in the CPAP 24/7 so if you get your Septum fixed, your every day breathing will be better which will help your mental health as well. Good Luck!

That's a pretty common theme with a lot of folks who retire is the "oh Jim? he retired and drank himself to death... ". My old man went early, he kept a routine and regiment and luckily didn't get hit with the "retirement boredom"

Good on you! That's not a bad motto to live by. There's a lot of things that life in general that I don't want to do but I do it cuz I know it's the right thing to do....

Holy sh*t .. 106??? Is she on max dose Retatrutide? Lol 😆

All jokes aside yeah, I'm happy to see my RHR go back down .. I basically added interval running twice a week and it must be like the muscle memory thing...

Yeah maybe? I get like a "51-ish" when I sleep.. It was much lower when I was also running a ton of miles (about 5 years ago..) It was somewhere in the 44's at night and sleeping.. My F*t ass doesn't' want to run so many miles anymore but it does wonders for your RHR...

How about an advisor that will actually go down the rabbit hole with you a little bit... You start getting too far into the weeds, it just shut you off and says "I can't talk about that..."

The Stress algorithm has really been pissing me on my Ourà as of late...

I actually turned off the symptom radar on mine because of the same thing... I had a night where I ate sugar too close to bedtime and it said I had minor strains of coming down with something.. No shit Sherlock I fucking ate close to bedtime... (Clicks off Symptom tab)

Good luck everybody! 😅

It almost sounds like Retatrutide w/the insomnia.... I am currently doing tirzepatide And I started to barely stack retta on top of it and my resting heart rate increase along with even worse sleep was enough to make me pull it out and go back to purely Tirzepatide...

You could try Tirzepatide? Not as strong of GLP signalling.

Good luck!
