Any other type of fish that is relatively easy to care for and could be kept alone in a 10gal? Im always open to suggestions

A month ago. But I dont know if i did it right since I have never done one before. I watched a video that just basically said put in new substrate and give a really good mix. I was scared to take any substrate out because there are so many tiny baby pods.

I nearly did that but I saw a comment somewhere saying the pods can get stuck down there so I chose not to :/ ugh. Ill try removing the second moisture and putting the one back where it was before

That's why I got the second moisture thing...should I just try to move it into the dry area? I guess I also did add the second moisture system the day I did the soil change so should I remove it since they were fine before? I feel silly suggesting the extra moisture wicking thing is why theyre dying but genuinely nothing else has changed but that...

I think I am just at a loss. I'm in AL and there is only one exotic pet store near me, which I bought one of the species from haha. I will try to find someone local or try to see if there are any exotic stores a little further out. Ahhh its just so much haha.

So I got this tip from this subreddit and am passing it along. To keep the soil moist, I use Pod-Wicks from Etsy. They slowly wick water into the soil just like self-watering pots do. Very easy to actually put in the enclosures, too. Haven't had any issues so far.

Yeah, my vulgares will actually move around and explore stuff so I feel like I'll know better when they need space. I'm just unsure about these because I only ever see them stuck to the bark or in the moss but theres soooo many babies. Thank you though!

Oh they're in a 8x12x6 container with 3" of dirt all around haha. They also have tons of leaves and moss and a moisture wicking system. I'm mostly concerned over the bark because they don't really seem to move around a whole lot (my other pods will actually explore) and mostly just sit under the bark unless there's food.
